This time i wanted to do something easy, beautiful and quick at the same time. So i thought what colours of gel polishes i have and how i would combine them.
The first thing that i thought was blue shade. And the next few minutes i knew what i will do on my mom's nails.
This time i won't create a "step by step edition" on Thursday because i didn't do anything too complicated, i just applied the gel polishes as i always do.
Products that i used:
- base/non wipe top coat
- pastel blue gel polish
- clear gel polish with white and blue glitter
First i removed the previous set with acetone as always. Then with the hand file i removed the shinning surface of the nail plate.
This is how they look like.
Then on the thumbs i applied the nail prep and the primer, because the thumbs are my nightmare so i prefer to do them first.
Then i applied the base coat, two layers of the blue pastel gel polish, and then one coat of the clear gel polish with white and blue glitter. I think that with a second layer would be better, but my mom didn't want more than one.
And then i applied the non wipe top coat.
I have to convince my mom to let me to do her nails once a week and not every two weeks because her nails grow fast and when is time for her next set, it takes much time to fix the shape and do them shorter.
