I don't have a variety of pastel gel colours, so i have to put my imagination to work.
The plan was to play with the texture, but it didn't go as i was planning. It's a good idea though because i used two different shades of purple in both hands.
Products that i used:
- base/matte/non wipe top coats
- purple gel polish
- purple pastel gel polish
The first step is to remove the previous set with acetone. The best option is the e-file, but first of all i don't know how to use an electric file, and second those machines aren't cheap.
Then i removed the shinning surface from the nail plate and i applied the primer.
I started with the pastel purple gel polish first to all of the nails and i applied the matte top coat on them.
Then i did the rest of the nails with the darker purple gel polish, and i applied the matte top coat on them too.
Then i tried to create some texture with the glossy non wipe top coat by drawing some lines.
I write with the right hand, so it would be difficult for me to do the same lines with my left hand. That's why i did the lines only on my left hand on three nails.
And this is the final product. I hope you like them!
