Wednesday Well-being Club | Report #8 My Seventh Week ๐ŸŽฏ| Sports Day Parents Race

Hello Hive Family,

Wait a minute! Is it time for another Wednesday Wellness Report? I wasn't ready!

What is the Wednesday Well-being Club?
According to @shanibeer

The Wednesday Wellbeing Club is for anyone who wants to make some lifestyle changes. It will run every week for fifteen weeks until Wednesday 24 November 2021.I'm aiming to lose 6kg in that time with the intention of improved health benefits and the opportunity to reduce medication. You might have other health goals - being more active, giving up smoking, getting more sleep. Each week, we'll check progress against the Rule of Fives I set out in the launch post. You can write your own post each week, or you can just leave a comment on each week's post about how things are going for you.

My Week 7 Well-being Report

ReflectionHive blog, ๐Ÿ™I grateful for the chance to write this weekly report as each time it gives me a chance to reflect on how I did on my wellness goals. Achieved.
Family Relations๐Ÿ“šAchieved. Attended sports day at the boy's school over the weekend. It was nice going around watching their events and taking pictures and videos to capture the memories. I also took part in the annual parents race. This year I surprised myself and won. My Dad ratings went up with the boys especially my younger son. He ran up to me and said "Daddy you won everyone said you're fast." My sore muscles are a testament to the effort I put into the race. The Wellness Club would have been proud of my efforts. Can you see me leaning forward at the finish line? It was nice being able to attend a school event that was not online.Win
Physical ExerciseWalking ๐Ÿšถ ๐ŸšŠTook the train to work three days this week. That means I did alot of walking to and from both stations. Of course I opted to take the stairs instead of escalators. Iโ€™ve been skipping stairs and doing some brisk walking as well. Iโ€™m seeing the benefits of making a simple change in my commute. Made some progress.
Lose 4-5kg ๐Ÿฅ…-.5kgI've been checking my weight every Wednesday morning. This is my second weight check since I added the weight loss goal. This week I lost .1kg making my cumulative weight loss .5kg. Again I'm happy to report a smaller number on the scale. ๐Ÿ˜ŽThumbs up weight down
FinanceStart 618HP-Now 745HP+127HP 90.7% Achieved. This week Iโ€™ve missed my HP goal by (-13HP). My weekly target ๐ŸŽฏ is 20HP. Of course I received some HP from voting and creating content. As usual, Iโ€™m grateful to everyone who voted on my posts. Thank you.
