Firstly I would like to thank all that participated in the #EPL-ScoreChallenge AND #HIVE-FPL.

Gameweek 2 was really a continuation of gameweek 1, goals galore; 45 goals scored and only 3 teams had a clean-sheets. Manchester United got off to the worst start possible, a shock loss to Crystal Palace at home. Leeds won their first home game in the Premier League (5th April 2004 beating Leicester City) as they beat Fulham in a 7 goal thriller with Fullham. 5 teams won their opening 2 fixtures; the Foxes are leading the way, edging out the rest by goal difference.

Weekly Update - #EPL-ScoreChallenge

Weekly Update - #HIVE-FPL

2 FPL teams scored the most points (84) in gameweek 2; @teofilex11 (Tezos FC) and badboy fc.

Leader board: @teofilex11 (Tezos FC) leading the #HIVE-FPL competition on 150 points, closely followed by @chekohler (Boom XhakaLacaSaka) on 2nd place and in 3rd place @jeanlucsr (S.V. Botopasi)

Striker

Harry Kane turned provider as Spurs outclassed Southampton in a 7 goal thriller. Kane was involved in all 5 goals; assisted 4 times and scoring 1 goal himself. Kane scored a total of 21 points for FPL managers.

Only 1 FPL managers in our mini league had Harry Kane in their team. Kane is normally a safe striker option, as he is always involved in nearly all of Spurs goals. FPL managers normally hold their breathe and hope his not injured.

There were a few more striker that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Calvert-Lewin (Everton) and Maupay (Brighton)

Midfield

Similar to Kane, Son is also involved in most of the Spurs goals. As he is the driving force in midfield, with his pace and dribbling abilities. The Korean international scored 4 goals. Heung-Min Son scored the most FPL points this week. Congrats to the 2 FPL managers that had him on their team in our mini league.

There were a few more midfielders that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Mané (Liverpool), Zaha (Crystal Palace) and Costa (Leeds)

Defender

Konsta's goal and clean sheet helped his Aston Villa team to 3 valuable points to kick start their Premier League campaign. Every FPL manager love it when their defenders assist or score goals.

Unfortunately Konsta is not owned by many FPL managers, so whoever owned him should consider them self fortunate.

There were a few more defenders that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Mings (Aston Villa) and Castagne (Leicester City)

Goalkeeper

Alisson from Liverpool scored the most FPL points for a goalkeeper. He had a blinder, three outstanding saves and also he saved a penalty. Liverpool also kept a clean sheet (4 points) + 5 points for the penalty save + 1 point for the amount of saves (3) and 2 bonus points.

I have a lot of thinking and adjusting to do on my FPL team as @teofilex11 (Tezos FC) and @chekohler (Boom XhakaLacaSaka) are starting to pull away from the pack. And it's ONLY been 2 weeks since the season started.
