Weekend Tour in Tuwi Jeuringeh

Hello Hivers..

In this post I share about our weekend trip to Tuwi Jeureungeh located in Tanjong village, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. In this post I also share photos of our trip to the natural tourist location.

Initially we wanted to climb to the top of Mount Seulawah Dara, but were constrained by permits in the local village because there was an activity to commemorate Indonesia's independence day, finally we decided to go to Tuwi Jeureungeh. Tuwi Jeuringeh is a very famous natural tourist location in Pidie district similar to the Grand Canyon, with a cluster of rivers surrounded by high cliffs, creating beautiful canals and pools of water.

Having stayed overnight at the peak of RV-70 Rajui, the next morning at around 10.24 WIB we immediately left for Tuwi Jeureungeh, we had to climb and cross a river to get to the location. During the trip we were treated to the beauty of nature with shady trees and the sound of birds calling to each other. Along the route there are also community agricultural lands and large rocks that slightly obstruct our journey.

In Tuwi Jeureungeh we can also enjoy the atmosphere of bathing with natural mountain water and green trees growing around the Sihangga river creating cool air and beautiful scenery when viewed by the eye. We came to Tuwi Jeureungeh on a holiday and many other visitors came to Tuwi Jeurengeh, they were just grilling fish, grilling chicken, some also came to take a bath.

The name Tuwi Jeureungeh comes from the Acehnese language Tuwi means pool, Jeureungeh means clear, Tuwi Jeureungeh means clear pool. That's all my posts on this occasion, I hope my friends like it.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
