Change is constant as we often say and hear. It can be joyful and sad depending on the occasion. Change brings about adaptability, that is, the chance to experience new situations.
Unexpected change of plans can have a never effect on someone who can not handle an emergency situation. Changes can occur in business, in relationships while for some it can be challenging, others can find it as a way to explore and find more meaning to life.
Handling change is simply by learning adaptation. Although change creates tension and a life of uncertainty, the way we approach and handle it can have a positive effect. When we accept the change and know it will be normal to feel uncertain, sad, scared and tense during that period, it can help one handle change easily.

I remember last year when I had to change from my line of business to something totally different. I was so scared, unsure of what the new business would yield, my spirit was surrounded by fear but I conquered.
In my own case, I had this negative feeling. It is just good to know that these negative emotions would surely come. Realizing it doesn't in any way give a clear definition of what the outcome of the change would be will help a lot in moving forward and trying the new opportunity with no fear.
Change can create room for self growth. Being optimistic and staying focused can help one accept change and embrace the new challenge.
ADVICES TO SOMEONE WHO IS FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO GET THROUGH CHANGE
Giving a listening ear to the person and empathizing with them will help validate their emotions. Also, letting the person know that change can be challenging and stressful and the need to care for oneself no matter what the change is bringing to the table would go a long way to let such a person accept the change. Letting the individual know that celebrating victory no matter how small the win is can help one stay positive in the improvement. In addition, offering support in any way can help the person realize that they have people who are ready to direct and offer assistance in any form.
