Dealing with rude people

Happy Sunday everyone!

How do I deal with rude people?

Well, the honest truth is that a good number of people living on our dear planet Earth are rude by nature, and there's no way we can completely escape from them. If you say you don't want to meet rude people, that means you'll have to relocate to another planet—and who knows if the aliens on other planets are not rude? Lol. This is why we need to map out a good approach to deal with or manage rudeness from people.

So how do I handle mine?

I avoid them!

Sometimes it's really difficult to avoid these people, I mean, walking away from them, but the truth is that it's very doable. In the end, avoiding them may feel like you've thrown a bomb at them.
Whenever I see someone trying to shout at me or trying to prove they know everything, I don't argue back or shout back—I quietly move away.
I've encountered this many times, and in the end, I felt like I won a battle.

There was a time when the landlady of a compound I once stayed in was shouting and calling out names for a task she felt I was supposed to do but didn't. Her reaction was so rude that it almost made me react with words, but when I saw that it wouldn't do any good, I just kept quiet. I deeply snubbed her, passing right in front of her and feeling unconcerned.

Do you know what happened?
After a while, my silence drove her crazy, and she shifted her rants from the earlier judgment she was giving me to how I decided to keep silent.

I'm someone who doesn't talk much, I count my words, and I can't be seen wasting the few words I have on a rude person. I don't have that energy.

Thanks!
