Love -
Hello amazing #qc community friends, I hope your weekend is going well. This Monday, schools are resuming for a new session after a long summer holidays that left parents bonding with their children. Some of them went for vacation. Tomorrow is expected to be traffic laden because of the school resumption. I wish all children and teachers a happy resumption. Welcome back to school and work.
Love can mean different things to individuals depending on the persons perpective. For this write-up, I chose to define love as a deep fond, affection, bond or relationship between two persons. It goes beyond the facial to deep commitment and show of affection, care, mutal understanding, co-existence and cohabiting between such people.’
When you love someone, it will be difficult to hurt, deceive, cheat or treat the person bad. You will always want to poof that you love the person against all odds.
Furthermore, there is a belief that somebody somewhere is meant for another. I think it is correct because, when they meet themselves, love becomes easy to practice; you live, sleep, show, and feel loved with ease. There wouldn’t be struggle; even when there are disagreements, they will peacefully resolve them without much fuss. There is a desire to work towards a common goal, achieve purposes, and move on as a united front.
On the other hand, when people are not with the person meant for them, it will be difficult for them to love each other; struggling and quarrelling will become a daily affair. There will be issues of dishonest living and suspicion every time.
Additionally, we need to find our match; though it might not be a perfect person, love can cover many things if the two persons concerned are willing to work together with honesty and open-mindedness. But where there are persistent red flags of dishonest living, violence, and trust issues, it is a sign that those persons aren't meant for each other.
Finally, when that soulmate is found, it is a complete package but not a perfect human. There is nothing like a perfect human being on earth. What we can find are two imperfect humans that truly love themselves and are willing to make sacrifices that will make their relationship work.
