Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) said on Friday it is working with state lawyers general to distinguish and arraign outsider dealers who are exploiting fears of the spreading coronavirus to take part in cost gouging on the Amazon site.  

In a letter to U.S. Congressperson Edward Markey, the organization said it has evacuated in excess of 530,000 item offers over cost gouging worries just as "millions" of items that make unsupported cases about their capacity to battle coronavirus.  

Markey composed Amazon not long ago requesting that the organization prevent outsider merchants from sloping up costs for things like Purell hand sanitizers as individuals try to shield themselves from the coronavirus.  

Markey said he composed the letter in the wake of finding that a pack of 24 2-ounce containers of Purell, which should cost $10, was selling for $400 on the organization's site.
