The new Premier League season is nearly upon and so it's time to join the Hive FPL and give yourself a chance of winning some substantial prizes.

Last season was a great success with over 100 managers fighting it out for the inaugural titles of league champion (@deniskj) and cup champion (@thoth442).

This year we're back with not only the classic FPL game but also multiple head to head leagues that will see FPL managers with a Hive account be able to win prizes on a weekly basis.

How do I join the classic Hive Fantasy Premier League?

Joining couldn't be easier. All you'll need is a free Hive account and a free Fantasy Premier League account.

Once you have both accounts, you'll need to complete our very simple Google Form below so that we can link your Hive account to your FPL account. We need this information so that we can pay your weekly and end of year prizes (see below).

The form will also share the joining code for the official Hive Fantasy Premier League.

Prizes for Hive FPL 23/24 winners

Last year we distributed prizes worth over $1000 in Hive tokens, with first placed @deniskj winning 1125 Hive alone.

As with last year, the prize fund is dependant on support from the community and is mainly driven by the posts that we'll be making on a weekly basis and they upvotes they receive.

At the end of the season, 60% of the total Hive in the @hivefpl wallet will be disbursed to the top 10 point scorers in the Hive FPL who have a linked Hive account (see above for how to link your account).

That 60% will then be split between the top 10 as follows

1st place - 6/16 of the total prize fund
2nd place - 4/16 of the total prize fund
3rd place - 2/16 of the total prize fund
4th place - 1/16 of the total prize funds
5th to 10th place - 1/32 of the total prize fund each

Remember that this year, we are also running a series of Head to Head leagues which offer weekly prizes to our players too. There are still a few spots up for grabs in Division 2 which those with a linked Hive account can join.

As well as joining the Hive FPL, we'll be running a series of initiatives, competitions and ways to interact with other fans of the beautiful game throughout the year.
