No harvests for the day. Some of the smaller squash froze and a lot of the leaves got torched. It's cold again this morning so I will see if any of the plants will make it into the warm up that is coming the next days.

I was curious about my other mesh radio that I thought I had bricked. I pulled it out and was able to flash the software on it and then took it out on the deck to see if the solar panel I have would run it, and it did in full light with no battery. It didn't like the shade though.

Barney got his ass kicked by Smith in round 2.

I've found that the footing for the overhang post is rather large and gives me a big surface to set the end support on. I roamed the farm and found a pair of railroad ties that I am going to use for the posts which I will notch out on the top for the horizontal boards to sit.

We had a few little dragonflies that were sunning themselves by the deck and were quite mellow. They would flit about then land back on the tops of the flower stalks.

A pair of the 12 foot log boards needed to be split a bit thinned so I grabbed the wedges and split them down to the smaller sizes. They will fit the post tops better this way.

Rather large dragonfly in the spider web. One of the bigger dragonflies we have around the farm so I'm still curious what happened to get it so stuck, and dead.

We have nice looking grapes that need to get picked now that they have had a couple cold nights on them they should be a lot sweeter.

R finally got to ride the scooter now that I have the sport mode switch installed so it is a kids mode and a lot slower. Both boys mobbed around the driveway with it for a while.

The other mesh radio got strapped to the back of the back of the solar panel with battery installed and up to the roof I went.

I mounted the setup midway up the antenna mast so I can see if it will last overnight on the battery until it starts to recharge in the morning.

There was a bunch of logs laying still between the gear shed and the garden shed so I piled them in the wheelbarrow and dumped the load by the wood pile.

As I was turning the wheelbarrow around to push it towards the wood pile I looked down and found this ancient jack sticking out of the ground. It is really old and likely from the 30s or 40s judging by the size of it and the design.

The boys managed to drag the toms back across the creek and shoved them in the pallet hut. Likely the bigger one will be going to our neighbors as a pet while the other will get butchered lest he go wandering again.

Grilled burgers for dinner in the fire pit then soaked before bed.

Cold again this morning so I likely lost more plants to the temps. PDC finals today, Seahawks play midday, turkey will go back across the creek, probably try fighting with the coop door controller STILL, and I guess keep going on the wood cover unless I get a burr to do some saw work and drop trees.
