The important of honesty

I’ve heard people say that it’s best and better to trust your life and possessions to a honest man than a lying person

To be honest is to say the truth at all times and anywhere it’s also means that your yes is your yes and your No is your no

Being honest will make people trust you and it make people to entrust you with things

When there is a dispute between two person you will be called out to judge the situation because you are honest and your judgement will not be bias

A honest person is an upright person and everyone in the community will love to associate with you

I know being honest might not be easy because some people might dislike you because you are a honest person

Another important of honesty is that you will be at peace with yourself , you might not be at peace with everyone.

You will sleep well at night because you do not have skeleton in your cupboards

Honesty will make people to enumerate you , parents and others that know the importance of honesty will always speak of you in high level of admiration they will encourage their kids to be like you.

While growing up I was told that when you tell one lie you will need extra 50 lies to cover that one lie completely , while go such extent , being dishonest is quite stressful

I had an experience to share on honesty , it’s was difficult for me but I had to tell the truth

While growing up our parents buys foodstuff in bags ,on a faithful my mom went and paid money for some grains and starch ( rice and garri ) and asked I and my brother to go and get it from the sellers shop , both were half bags . We went there and carried it on our head we were almost close to the house we do not know what we were doing some of the rice and garri poured on the road , their was nothing we could on getting home our mom asked us what took us so long at first I wanted to lie because lying will prevent her from knowing what happened and at the same time if I lied today what about tomorrow when she go out in the streets and hears about it what will be our fate , guys I told her the truth 😔😔 Omo if you see the beating I and my younger brother received you go pity us , what mattered at the end is we told the truth. Since that time they are things that my mother would as me and whatever I say they believe it without questioning it

Honesty will make people respect you at all times
