Rejection is when someone or group of people tells an individual directly or indirectly that you are not wanted. It's also the act of declining or saying no to someone. Rejection is when someone turns and work away when the other is still trying to reach out. It's also when someone is being ignored while reaching out. Rejection is when one walks away while the other individual is still calling.

Rejection happens when one person feels the other is not good enough or not qualified. Sometimes it occur when an individual feels threatened by the presence of the other person. The feeling that one's position is at risk by the inclusion of the other person. People are sometimes rejected to keep them beneath and stagnated in one spot.

Like in the case of Joseph, he was rejected because of his dreams. His siblings feel threatened by his constant dreams of being on top and leading them. He was vehemently rejected and sold out as a slave by his brothers in a strange land. God being by his side, doors of greatness where opened onto him and he later became a prime minister in a strange land and the same people that rejected him later came and bowed down before him.

Often time, persons that are rejected always turns out to be great personalities in life. That is why when faced with rejection, one need not to lose focus. Once faced with rejection, one should quietly walk away and try somewhere else or do something else because many closed doors open other doors.

Another way of dealing with rejection is the need to forgive those rejecting us. Why? because forgiving others, releases the pain from us. It allows us to have peace and freedom instead of anger and resentment.

Indeed, the rejected stone can turn out to be the chief corner stone.
