SHARING HIVE WITH OTHERS

Hello everyone and welcome to my post.

Hive is a platform in the web3.0 space that encompasses all other platforms.

It is widely known for its decentralization and it has positively impacted its users.

Irrespective of how complex it can be, it has proven to be the best decentralized social media platform throughout the existence of web 3.0

Being a member of this platform, I have benefited in all ramifications from the positives of the platform, though i had to go through every day stress to get to the level i want to achieve.

I would not want to enjoy all these opportunities alone, so I have reached out to many people to join the hive platform. This had led me to preach about the hive platform to many people both online and offline.

If I am to describe m experience in one word, I will say that it is "frustrating."

When I reach out to people to tell them about hive, they tend not to believe in the goodies it has to offer due to the high rate of scams in the country. Some people will want to know the negative side of hive and I will disappoint them by telling them that there is none, just hard and smart work, quality, following rules as well as consistency. Also, it is a gradual process of growth not a get-rich-quick platform.

When I tell people these, 80 percent give up because they are looking for sharp sharp money while about 20 percent of the people will want to give it a try.

Bringing in a newbie to the hive platform is the most stressful thing I have ever encountered as a blogger. Sometimes, most of the newbies do give up on the way due to the complexity of the teachings. Not up to a handful continue.

Sometimes, the problem is not the newbies but the frontend. It is a kind of difficult to register a newbie through ecency as I always say that the IP score is very low. If the frontend finally accepts to create the account, the newbie will be exhausted and would have lost the motivation to continue, just as in the case of @darkvine, though I'm still trying to build up the motivation to continue.

There are so many people who I have introduced to the platform but due to one thing or the other, they could not cope and had to leave.

personally, I will say that hive is not for the weak, and only the strong, focused and those with purpose survive in this platform.

Sometimes, I feel discouraged and feel like to stop bringing in newbies to hive. The last person I brought to hive was my cousin @peterharry who got scammed by an online platform. Being experienced with such platform, I tried to talk him out of it when he invited me to join but it was too late, he had already invested his money. Long story short, he got scammed and I decided to bring him to hive but unfortunately, his motivation was cut short when ecency was giving issues, and I could not properly teach him because he lost interest when his account was finally created after much trials. I'm still trying to motivate him too.

I learnt lots of lessons from these experiences, some of which includes:

Before going to talk somebody into being a hive member, make sure to have materials used to guiding the particular person.

Always be prepared for the most stupid questions and provide polite answers

Patience is the most important attribute of recruiting newbies. Be patient and always explain to them and let them not sense any negative vibes while you're explaining.

Furthermore, I learnt that recruiting newbies comes with many sacrifices, time included so the recruiter must be prepared.

Lastly, I learnt to always encourage the newbies, check up on them so as to rebuild their motivation.
