"Eye-The organ for sight"
I have often hear some people saying "if you can see it, then you will certainly have it and if you can't see it you cannot have it no matter how close the thing is before you"
People often use that statement whenever they are hoping to get something:This could be Job, admission to higher institution, favor from their boss at the place of work and the likes...And then you will be hearing some saying, i dreamt that i have gotten this and that, and they will be hoping to have the thing physically just beyond the dream level.
Well, in a life-run,these seems to be somehow seemingly true that whatever your eyes have not seen it can be very difficult to claim having it.
But is it everything that the eyes sees that one ought to have?.In this article you find answer to that question through the experience i want to share here with you.Tag:
"Don't take a second look"
As a undergraduate student, living a campus life, a life off from family and even old friends, i have seen different things, had different encounters with my eyes, both the good and the bad all joined together.
Can i easily forget this encounter i had on this fateful day while going to deliver a message to a sister at the female hostel?. Though the image of the event my eyes captured are not vividly in my heart now, yet i still have the memories on my head.It took me almost a week or more than to erase the pre-picture of that day event!
It was not yet too dark while i was walking through the upstairs, to deliver the message when i suddenly saw a young lady.Just in twinkling of an eye i saw this lady bathing naked outside the bathroom, i don't know why she choose to do that, and do i really have time to find out and to know the why now?.Surely i don't, in as much as am concern at the moment that will only be a useless thing to try doing.I don't need to take a second glance at the Lady, i quickly turn away my eyes immediately, because i knew well the effect of what the second look could result to, especially in the life of a young man like me:
I have known and heard of many young men like me and even young ladies that become addicted to lustful life that resulted into premarital sex, pornography, homosexuality, lesbianism, and the likes, which looks common in the western world, but we know well that here in African those things are detestable even by our government laws.
I have had moments, where i was just browsing with my phone, then those pornography pictures will just automatically pop up."And na eyes de see all these things as e bi, either good or bad o, na it first de see all those things"
So i have to repeatedly told myself "I have made a covenant with my eyes that i will not sin against God, that's my reactions and what i kept telling myself. I therefore don't need to take second look into such things. The first look i can call it an accidentals look, but the second look, guy e no be accident.Its just like you saw the fire coming yet you decided to go into the fire, which will eventually burn.
The eye is one of the most powerful organ of the body system which is for sight or vision.
When it is properly guarded and focused, the whole body gain light for life direction, when it is not properly guarded, darkness finds space to be the guide of life.And we know better how it looks like walking in the night without light, it is very disastrous.
