A Perfect Mondays

What makes Mondays terrible is that it comes immediately after the weekend, and often has loads of work piled up and waiting to be attended to. Mondays aren't always a perfect day for most workers, there's always this low energy that comes from the feeling of stress as a result of the workloads. Personally, Mondays weren't my favorite days back in school, it had so many activities in it, the assignments, the neatness check, the several periods on the time table, and most especially that it's a day of work after two days of rest.

I have heard people wish that the weekend had four days, including mondays. This might not really solve the vexation people experience at the start of a week, it might even leave much work waiting to be attended to. Even when many people complain about Mondays, there are a few other people who consider Mondays to be great and one might wonder what made Mondays such a perfect day for them. This reminded me of a time when I met someone that interested me in school. I was always eager for Monday to come during the weekend so I could go see that someone. So, to have a perfect Monday, one must have something that makes him eager for the weekend to be over . A perfect Monday should hold things of interest that could make a person wishing for another great moment.

If i was to reconstruct a perfect Monday for me, the first few hours at the resumption of work would be a small party in the workplace. A small party of round tables with beers or an individual's favorite drink and meal. No work, just another few hours to enjoy a weekend grove differently in the workplace. Over time, a game may be included. This is to include fun in the workplace and wave off the fear of stress. But that wouldn't be all, I'll make mondays a half day, closing from work earlier than the other weekdays. If the usual closing hour is 6pm, I'll make closing hours for mondays 3pm. Who wouldn't love the start of a week with a lot of fun and a short day at work. I bet every worker wouldn't wait for Mondays to come, because it's the only day where they get to have fun and enjoy a short working hour- an unusual thing about mondays.

The acronym TGIF (Thank God it's Friday) tells a lot about how people desire the weekends and most weekends are for fun. Some people spend time with their families, some with their friends, and others prefer to go clubbing. The weekend is mostly a time when people do what they love to do and the idea of having all the time feels good. If such fun is introduced a little and a little more time is given to people on Mondays, they might as well form the acronym TGIM (Thank God it's Monday).
