El mar inquieto te hace buen marinero pero te das cuenta de ello cuando estás en el calmado mar que te lleva de nuevo a casa, a tus raíces. Eso hice yo este fin de semana, repasé poco a poco todo lo ocurrido y aquí les traigo mi experiencia.
Pensé en hacer un vídeo, sin embargo, aún no soy tan buena como @andreaag21 y @mildred271, así que me quise destacar en lo escrito y aquí estamos ¡Comencemos!
The restless sea makes you a good sailor but you realize it when you are in the calm sea that takes you back home, to your roots. That's what I did this weekend, I reviewed little by little everything that happened and here I bring you my experience.
I thought about making a video, however, I'm still not as good as @andreaag21 and @mildred271, so I wanted to highlight myself in writing and here we are Let's get started!
Sunrise
Mi día comenzó a las 6:30 de la mañana debido a que andaba super ansiosa de que todo comenzara rápido, todo se hiciera lo mejor posible y quedaran todos tan satisfechos como yo o hasta más.
En días anteriores me había puesto de acuerdo con @janitzearratia para que nos viéramos y nos fueramos en taxi juntas al sitio del evento porque yo me iba en taxi porque llevaba varias cosas y también la laptop.
Janitze me sorprendió con un hermoso detalle para hacerme un skin care y también para cuidar la piel de todo mi cuerpo, algo que le agradecí un montón porque de donde uno menos espera siempre sale alguien que te alegra el día con algo tan bonito y útil, mi rostro se lo agradece inmensamente.
Revisé el bolso, metí todo lo que me faltaba (perfume, cosas así), pedimos el taxi y salimos para el sitio, llegamos y aún no había llegado nadie pero poco a poco se fueron aproximando todos y nos fuimos presentando, hablando un poco de todo lo relacionado a nuestras vidas y de cómo llegamos a la blockchain, algo que me gustó mucho porque algunos de quienes nos acompañaron son personas que están desde antes de la bifurcación.
Esperamos en las afueras de Lago Mall un rato y luego pasamos a las inmediaciones de la Feria de Comida del centro comercial para así proceder a organizar las mesas, esperar los que faltaban por llegar y así dar comienzo a la charla.
My day started at 6:30 in the morning because I was super anxious for everything to start fast, everything to be done as well as possible and for everyone to be as satisfied as I was or even more.
In previous days I had agreed with @janitzearratia to meet and take a cab together to the event site because I was going by cab because I was carrying several things and also the laptop.
Janitze surprised me with a beautiful detail to make me a skin care and also to take care of the skin of my whole body, something that I thanked her a lot because where you least expect always comes out someone who makes your day with something so nice and useful, my face is immensely grateful.
I checked my bag, put in everything I was missing (perfume, things like that), we ordered the cab and left for the site, we arrived and no one had arrived yet but little by little everyone approached us and we introduced ourselves, talking a little about everything related to our lives and how we got to the blockchain, something that I really liked because some of those who accompanied us are people who have been there since before the fork.
We waited outside Lago Mall for a while and then moved to the vicinity of the Food Fair of the mall to organize the tables, wait for those who had not yet arrived and start the talk.
Half day
Después que ya estábamos todos ubicados debidamente en nuestros puestos, comenzó el networking en su apogeo porque comenzamos a hablar más en profundidad sobre nuestro trabajo personal, nuestro trabajo en la blockchain de Hive y todo lo que nos ha beneficiado a nosotros a nivel laboral, personal y familiar.
Entre nosotros habían personas de todo el ámbito cripto pero también habían personas con oficios y/o profesiones que cualquiera creería que no se adaptan a todo lo relacionados con blockchain y criptomonedas pero Hive ha hecho posible la diversificación de nosotros en todo esto.
Fueron traders, programadores, diseñadores, creadores de NFTs, periodistas, personas con postgrados, personas con estudios empezados pero que se apasionaron tanto en otra cosa que dejaron su carrera, en fin ¡Eramos una hermosa comunidad diversa y muy sana! Cosa que personalmente agradezco de todo porque siempre existe el miedo de que pueda ocurrir algo que haga desencadenar una serie de eventos desafortunados pero eso no pasó y lo agradezco.
Hasta el momento, todo lo relacionado al centro comercial iba bien, estábamos esperando que abrieran la pizzeria cuando decidimos darle comienzo a la charla.
After we were all properly situated in our seats, the networking began in full swing as we began to talk more in depth about our personal work, our work on the Hive blockchain and all that it has benefited us on a work, personal and family level.
Among us there were people from all over the crypto field but there were also people with trades and / or professions that anyone would think that do not fit everything related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies but Hive has made possible the diversification of us in all this.
They were traders, programmers, designers, creators of NFTs, journalists, people with postgraduate degrees, people with studies started but were so passionate about something else that they left their careers, in short We were a beautiful diverse and very healthy community! I am personally grateful for everything because there is always the fear that something could happen that could trigger a series of unfortunate events, but that did not happen and I am grateful for that.
So far, everything related to the mall was going well, we were waiting for the pizzeria to open when we decided to start the chat.
The talk
Comenzamos a entrar en materia cuando les dije "¡Comencemos!", hicimos un vídeo pre charla junto con Mildred y lo subimos a mi cuenta de Twitter con el tag #HiveCDMcbo, aquí les dejo el tweet.
Comencé a hablar con todos primero porque soy la host, me toca 😂 y comencé dando un breve significado de cosas básicas sobre qué es Hive, qué es la blockchain de Hive, por qué usamos más Hive que cualquier otra, por qué preferimos Hive sobre otras, por qué creemos que Hive está infravalorada, de dónde viene Hive, mis aspiraciones personales relacionadas al precio, a la utilidad y lo lejos que podemos llegar.
Hubo un momento en el que echamos broma diciendo que Hive no llegará a ser como Terra porque somos una comunidad solida que viene incluso desde antes de Hive y logramos bifurcar en busca de mantener la comunidad unida, fuerte y una blockchain con los mismos principios. También echamos broma sobre que no se cae como Solana, cosa es que cierta porque al haber tantos nodos validadores de tantos testigos increíbles como @theycallmedan o @aliento ponemos fuertemente a prueba nuestra descentralización y nos levantamos en poco tiempo.
Poco después comencé a hablar sobre las diferentes dApps y comunidades tokenizadas dentro de Hive como lo es @threespeak, @dbuzz, @splinterland, Rising Star, @ecency, @leofinance, @palnet, entre muchas otras más.
Pasamos a darle la palabra uno a uno para que hablara brevemente de cómo llegaron a la plataforma, cómo les va, cómo se sienten y qué le dirían a alguien nuevo que está por entrar a Hive, como estuvieron varios como @arenasd que el mismo día creó su cuenta gracias a la ayuda de los tutoriales de Mildred.
We started to get into it when I told them "Let's get started!", we made a pre-talk video together with Mildred and uploaded it to my Twitter account with the tag #HiveCDMcbo, here I leave you the tweet.
I started talking to everyone first because I am the host, it's my turn 😂 and I started by giving a brief meaning of basic things about what Hive is, what Hive blockchain is, why we use Hive more than any other, why we prefer Hive over others, why we think Hive is undervalued, where Hive comes from, my personal aspirations related to price, usability and how far we can go.
There was a moment where we joked that Hive will not become like Terra because we are a solid community that comes even before Hive and we managed to fork in search of keeping the community united, strong and a blockchain with the same principles. We also joked about not falling like Solana, which is true because there are so many validator nodes of so many incredible witnesses as @theycallmedan or @aliento we strongly test our decentralization and we get up in a short time.
Soon after I started talking about the different dApps and tokenized communities within Hive such as @threespeak, @/dbuzz, @/splinterland, Rising Star, @/ecency, @/leofinance, @/palnet, among many others.
We gave them the floor one by one to talk briefly about how they came to the platform, how they are doing, how they feel and what they would tell someone new who is about to enter Hive, as were several like @arenasd who created his account the same day thanks to the help of Mildred's tutorials.
Todos hablaron un poco de toda su experiencia y todos los oímos atentamente porque, además de ser creadores de contenido en nuestra blockchain, algunos crean contenido en otras redes sociales y también tienen profesiones interesantes que nos hizo entender que para estar en blockchain y cripto solo hace falta tener las ganas de hacerlo.
Los testimonios de cada uno de ellos, que yo los conocía individualmente, caló en otros nosotros debido a que hay testimonios en donde el crear contenido salvó a gente de la depresión, que el apoyo de la comunidad ayudó a traer al mundo a hermosos bebés, que Hive fue la diferencia entre un trabajo poco remunerado en la calle y quedarse en casa para seguir estudiando para ser un mejor profesional.
Hive está forrado de testimonios increíbles y todas las personas que asistieron este día, tanto las que están dentro como las que están por entrar, son la demostración de que en comunidad podemos llegar muchísimo más lejos que de manera individual.
They all talked a bit about their whole experience and we all listened to them attentively because, besides being content creators in our blockchain, some of them create content in other social networks and also have interesting professions that made us understand that to be in blockchain and crypto you just need to have the desire to do it.
The testimonials of each of them, which I knew individually, resonated with others of us because there are testimonials where creating content saved people from depression, that the support of the community helped bring beautiful babies into the world, that Hive was the difference between a low paid job on the street and staying at home to continue studying to be a better professional.
Hive is full of incredible testimonies and all the people who attended this day, both those who are inside and those who are about to enter, are the demonstration that in community we can go much further than individually.

Llego la parte más cool de todos los eventos que es comer porque con la pancita vacía no podemos seguir creando contenido o conversando, en el caso del evento.
Las pizzas estaban buenas, se pidieron todas de maíz y tocineta porque yo soy fan y no queríamos como ponernos a elegir otras cosas y perder tiempo.
Comimos todos felices y nos fuimos a la parte de atrás de Lago Mall luego de un rato de muchas risas, un par de fotos más y claro de arreglar todo lo que habíamos movido porque nosotros no somos de esos que dejan la bandeja en el lugar que comieron.
The coolest part of all events is to eat because with an empty belly we can not continue creating content or talking, in the case of the event.
The pizzas were good, they were all corn and bacon because I'm a fan and we didn't want to choose other things and waste time.
We all ate happily and went to the back of Lago Mall after a while of laughter, a couple more photos and of course to fix everything we had moved because we are not those who leave the tray in the place where they ate.
Ya en la parte de atrás abracé uno a uno y les agradecí por haber venido, les pregunté cómo se iban y si se podían ir en grupo, algunos de ellos se fueron juntos y un par se fue por su lado. En mi caso personal, entré a ver unas cosas y varias personas preguntaron por lo que andábamos haciendo nosotros reunidos, les di información y quedaron en buscarnos.
Antes de todos irnos, nos tomamos una última fotografía que eramos todos los hivers juntos y todos los no hivers (hasta el momento) juntos para inmortalizar un antes y un después de esta maravillosa reunión.
Varios se quedaron contemplando el lago, tomándose fotos, apreciando la hermosa vista porque hay que aceptar una cosa, el mayor atractivo de Lago Mall es su acceso a la orilla del lado. Pronto veremos atardeceres allí.
At the back I hugged one by one and thanked them for coming, I asked them how they were leaving and if they could leave as a group, some of them left together and a couple went their own way. In my personal case, I went in to see some things and several people asked about what we were doing together, I gave them information and they agreed to look for us.
Before we all left, we took one last picture of all the hivers together and all the non-hivers (so far) together to immortalize a before and after of this wonderful meeting.
Several remained contemplating the lake, taking pictures, appreciating the beautiful view because we must accept one thing, the biggest attraction of Lago Mall is its access to the shore on the side. Soon we will see sunsets there.
Closing + Final words
Después de despedirme de todos, y junto con la compañía de la sra. Janitze, aproveché en ir a preguntar unas cosas que tenía pendientes por preguntar, con el calor que está haciendo en Maracaibo uno debe organizar las salidas y eso hice.
Luego de preguntar, se me antojó una cerveza para soltar el estrés porque a pesar de que no fue costa arriba organizar el evento y el evento en sí tampoco lo fue, todo lo contrario, ando estresada por otros motivos y aproveché que en Kaori se puede pagar con Binance y nos tomamos una cerveza cada una, hablamos del evento, hablamos algunas cosas personales, nos recomendaron una entrada, se pidió, se comió, pedimos el taxi y nos regresamos cada una a su casa.
En esos espacios en los que pude bajarle dos a todo lo que ha venido ocurriendo en mi vida en los últimos dos meses, sencillamente pude agradecer todo lo que ocurrió para organizar este encuentro entre los hivers y no tan hivers acá en Maracaibo.
Es muy bonito que gente como @samgiset y @enrique89 que nunca nos hemos visto en persona confiaron en mí para poder llevar a cabo está actividad el pasado jueves. También agradecer a todos los patrocinantes que anteriormente he nombrado.
También quiero agradecer a todos y cada uno de los hivers que asistieron @reniermontiel, @soyalex, doudoer, @hectorfaria1, @andreaag21, @pavonj, @janitzearratia, @fotorincon12, mildred271, jesustiano, @noelyss, @vanessacala, @jerusa777, @joseg y al nuevo hiver @arenasd.

Para mí este evento fue más que una meta personal o una meta para Hive, también fue un buen motivo para empezar bien este mes, esta mitad del año y prepararnos para todo lo que sigue a partir de ahora que puede ser el evento masivo en Caracas al que todo deberiamos ir, por favor, y también crear más alianzas, ayudarnos entre todos, mejorar entre todos, como comunidad tenemos mucho que aportar al mundo, mucho que aportar a Hive y eso se notó este pasado sábado.
