Snow Summit!!

After my week long trip to Mammoth Mountain I was all warmed up and ready for more snowboarding. So I headed up to Big Bear for a great day at Snow Summit! I headed up early and there was still a few patches of ice on the highway, which was a little sketchy, but with 4WD my truck handled it just fine. I got to Snow Summit early and got a great parking spot and was ready to hop on the lift as soon as it opened getting some nice smooth runs on the fresh corduroy.

I started off with some runs on chair 2 and then headed over to chair 9 for awhile. Then I headed out to the parking lot for a little snack break. After that I came back and did a few runs on chair 1 and then spent the rest of the afternoon on chair 7 which is probably my favorite chair at Snow Summit.

It was a really nice day up there... perfect weather and no crowds. But after awhile my knee was getting sore and so I had to call it a day. But before driving back home I headed over to the north shore of Big Bear lake and enjoyed a nice walk along the shoreline.
