What a day !
This is a write up of a day I won’t forget very soon. The afternoon just started when I got an email from the school board. The message was very disturbing. The content was about an app and abuse on the internet and child porn!! What the F!
The message was about an app OMEGLE where one of the kids from my youngest sons class was exposed to child pornography. The girl, we don’t know who ( yet ) had the app or went online and was approached. The parents were warned and the police and a special department will be investigating.
The mail was for all the kids with a warning and an invite to an evening with more information about child porn and grooming, A special victims unit in school, I only know that because I am a huge Mariska Hargitay and the SVU SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT on tv.
Apparently the app is grooming and getting kids to share, either themselfs or pictures.
My babies , app , online seduction: what is this a bad movie. Thank hof it’s not about my kids but does that make it easier?

I asked the kids their iPads and phones and I will investigate some more. So no blog now, but when I know more I will share it here. Again we both are just blown away and scared, this is so close to home.
I have to take charge and read up.
I contacted some other moms and I left a reply message to the information event in school.
