Hoy me tocó lavar las camisas de vestir de mi esposo, que prefiero lavar solo con jabón y a mano para no dañarlas. Mientras más cuidamos nuestras prendas, nos ahorramos algo de los gastos del hogar, por eso quiero compartir mi truco para hacer esta tarea más fácil y rápida.
Para esto utilizo, por supuesto, un trozo de jabón para lavar, también un rallador, un envase de metal y la cocina.
Primero rallo el jabón para que tarde menos en disolverse.
Luego lo pongo a hervir a fuego medio y para saber si ya está listo lo reviso con una cucharilla a ver si no quedan trocitos de jabón. Puede tardar unos 10 minutos en estar listo. Al disolver se retira de la cocina y queda con esta apariencia, totalmente líquido.
Es recomendable hacer esto cuando ya tengamos todo preparado para echar a remojar la ropa con el jabón, pues hay algunas marcas de jabón que después de enfriar se convierte en una consistencia gelatinosa, y para usarla habría volver a hervir. Por eso antes de hacer este proceso yo ya he puesto mis prendas a remojar en agua para sacar un poco el sudor y la suciedad y para que no corte el agua de jabón con facilidad.
Saco las prendas y boto el agua sucia para ligar agua limpia con el jabón que ya disolví. Dejo remojando por unos 30 minutos y ¡a lavar!
Después de remojar se puede echar en la lavadora o lavar a mano. En mi caso lavo con una herramienta muy práctica que no maltrata las prendas delicadas y no es necesario que las vaya lavando una por una. En una próxima publicación me gustaría mostrarles tanto su fácil elaboración como la manera de usarla.
He notado que lavar de esta manera no solo me facilita la labor porque no tengo que enjabonar las prendas una por una, sino que también me rinde más el jabón. Quizás me equivoco, pero siento que soy de las que no sabe rendir mucho los detergentes, quiero echar bastante para que quede bien limpio lo que estoy lavando. Pero, por ejemplo, con ese trozo de jabón puedo lavar 6 piezas y quedar conforme con el resultado. ¿Eso para ti es mucho o es poco? Yo antes gastaba mucho más.

Today I had to wash my husband’s dress shirts, which I prefer to wash only with soap and by hand so as not to damage them. The more we take care of our clothes, we save some of the household expenses, so I want to share my trick to make this task easier and faster.
For this I use, of course, a piece of soap to wash, also a grater, a metal container and the kitchen.
First I grate the soap so it takes less time to dissolve.
Then I put it to boil on medium heat and to know if it is ready I check it with a spoon to see if there are no pieces of soap. It can take about 10 minutes to be ready. When dissolved it is removed from the kitchen and remains with this appearance, totally liquid.
It is advisable to do this when we have everything ready to soak clothes with soap, because there are some brands of soap that after cooling becomes a gelatinous consistency, and to use it would boil again. That is why before doing this process I have already put my clothes to soak in water to get some sweat and dirt and not cut soap water easily.
I take out the clothes and throw away the dirty water to connect clean water with the soap that I already dissolved. I leave soaking for about 30 minutes and wash!
After soaking it can be put in the washing machine or washed by hand. In my case I wash with a very practical tool that does not mistreat delicate clothes and it is not necessary to wash them one by one. In a forthcoming publication I would like to show you both its easy elaboration and how to use it.
I have noticed that washing in this way not only makes my work easier because I don’t have to soap the clothes one by one, but I also give more soap. Perhaps I am wrong, but I feel that I am not able to perform much detergents, I want to put enough so that what I am washing is clean. But, for example, with that piece of soap I can wash 6 pieces and be satisfied with the result. Is that too much or too little for you? I used to spend a lot more.
