El sábado recibí una invitación a la que no podía negarme, y es que mi amiga @jesymora me invitaba al cumple de su esposo, y nos reuniríamos después de muchísimo tiempo, pues Jesy acaba de regresar al país después de unos meses fuera y ya nos estaba haciendo falta el encuentro.
De Jesy ya les he hablado antes, ella es la presidenta de la Asociación de Ajedrez del estado, y junto a su esposo Ulises son los encargados de los torneos en los que participa mi hijo Matías, y hemos cultivado una bonita amistad junto con Claudimar y Egleidys quienes también hacen vida en la plataforma.
La invitación era para el domingo a medio día en casa de los padres del profesor Ulises que por dicha queda bastante cerca de la mía, pero igual esperaría por Claudi quien no sabía donde quedaba la casa, y estuvimos ahí alrededor de la 1:30 pm, y al llegar nos encontramos con un buen grupo de los chicos del ajedrez, los más grandes, porque los niños de la infantil estaban en un torneo en el estado Anzoátegüi, donde se encontraba nuestra amiga @egleidyscsc74 acompañando a su príncipe Jesús Zadquiel.
Aparte de los chicos estaban tres padres del ajedrez y algunos familiares del profe Ulises, y no se imaginan el ambiente tan rico, es como estar entre familia, y es que eso es este grupo amantes del ajedrez.
Comimos, hasta que de verdad ya no se podía más, contrataron a un grupo que se encargó de cantar temas de soda estéreo, mana, algunas de Queen, Desorden Público, Zapato 3, Amigos invisibles y pare de contar, así que por supuesto nosotras felices cantando y bailando la música con la que crecimos, alejadas por completo del reguetón gracias a Dios 🤣
Nos olvidamos del calor, y no sé cuantas horas estuvimos cantando y bailando como hace tiempo no lo hacíamos (por lo menos yo), y por supuesto fue un momento para recordar los increíbles conciertos y eventos playeros que se realizaban en la isla en la época de los 90 y que tuvimos la dicha de disfrutar.
La verdad hace mucho que no la pasaba tan bien, y ese desconectarme de todo me hacía bastante falta, y que mejor que hacerlo con buenas amigas.
On Saturday I received an invitation that I could not refuse, and that is that my friend @jesymora invited me to her husband's birthday, and we would meet after a long time, because Jesy just returned to the country after a few months away and we were already missing the meeting.
I have already told you about Jesy before, she is the president of the Chess Association of the state, and together with her husband Ulises are in charge of the tournaments in which my son Matias participates, and we have cultivated a nice friendship with Claudimar and Egleidys who also make life on the platform.
The invitation was for Sunday at noon at the home of the parents of Professor Ulises, which fortunately is quite close to mine, but I would still wait for Claudi who did not know where the house was, and we were there around 1:30 pm, and upon arrival we met with a good group of chess kids, the older ones, because the children of the infant were in a tournament in the state of Anzoátegüi, where our friend @egleidyscsc74 was accompanying her prince Jesus Zadquiel.
Apart from the kids there were three chess parents and some relatives of Professor Ulises, and you can not imagine the rich atmosphere, it's like being among family, and that is what this group of chess lovers is.
We ate, until we really couldn't take it anymore, they hired a group that was in charge of singing songs by Soda Stereo, Mana, some of Queen, Desorden Público, Zapato 3, Amigos Invisibles and so on, so of course we were happy singing and dancing to the music we grew up with, far away from reggaeton, thank God 🤣.
We forgot about the heat, and I don't know how many hours we were singing and dancing like we haven't done it in a long time (at least me), and of course it was a moment to remember the incredible concerts and beach events that took place on the island in the 90's and that we had the joy of enjoying.
It has been a long time since I had such a good time, and I really needed to disconnect from everything, and what better way to do it than with good friends.
