Saludos y bienvenidos sean a mi post, amigos de Hive y comunidad de 'Family and Friends', como siempre es un placer para mi publicar en esta comunidad. Espero que hayan amanecido muy bien y tengan un hermoso y gran inicio de semana. En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes la última salida del año 2.023 que tuve con mi mamá.
Greetings and welcome to my post, friends of Hive and 'Family and Friends' community, as always it is a pleasure for me to post in this community. I hope you have dawned very well and have a beautiful and great start of the week. In this opportunity I want to share with you the last outing of the year 2.023 that I had with my mom.
Ese día salí yo primero, ya que le mencioné a mi mamá que quería pasar por el parque porque quería sacar algunas fotos allá. Anteriormente, pude compartirles algunas de ese día, que fueron unas selfies que me tomé y otras de cuando ya me encontraba en el parque. En esta oportunidad, quiero compartirles las otras que no había subido por falta de tiempo.
That day I went out first, since I mentioned to my mom that I wanted to stop by the park because I wanted to take some pictures there. Previously, I was able to share with you some pictures from that day, which were some selfies I took and others from when I was already in the park. This time, I want to share with you the others that I had not uploaded due to lack of time.

Luego de terminar mi paseo por el parque, pude tomarme otras selfies mientras iba en camino al centro comercial Las Américas, ya que mi mamá me había dicho que ya estaba llegando. Al llegar al centro comercial, quise aprovechar de comprar una chicha para mí y otra para mi mamá. Las que venden allí son extremadamente deliciosas y cremosas. Mi mamá me mencionó que estaba por el lado del mercado, así que me dirigí hacia allá con su bebida y obviamente le saqué una foto jajaja. Luego, mi mamá y yo nos sentamos un momento a tomarnos la chicha y también nos tomamos varias fotos.
After finishing my walk through the park, I was able to take some more selfies while I was on my way to Las Américas shopping mall, since my mom had told me that she was on her way. When I got to the mall, I wanted to take the opportunity to buy a chicha for me and another one for my mom. The ones they sell there are extremely delicious and creamy. My mom mentioned to me that it was by the market side, so I headed over there with her drink and obviously took a picture hahaha. Afterwards, my mom and I sat for a while drinking the chicha and also took several pictures.

Como aún era navidad, habían muchas personas tomándose fotos con el arbolito al fondo. Mi mamá y yo no nos quisimos levantar de donde estábamos sentadas, así que le dije que nos tomáramos las selfies de manera que se viera un poco el arbolito.
Since it was still Christmas, there were many people taking pictures with the tree in the background. My mom and I didn't want to get up from where we were sitting, so I told her to take the selfies so that we could see a little bit of the tree.

Luego de tomarnos nuestra chicha, fuimos a la sede de 'Mango Bajito' que habían inaugurado allí en el C.C días antes. Nos tomamos una foto con un Santa Claus y nos dirigimos a Mango Bajito. Mi mamá la pudo conocer primero que yo, y me dijo que era super grande y tenían cosas súper bonitas. Yo no quise quedarme con la duda así que por eso también tenía muchas ganas de conocerla. Para mi impresión, si era como había dicho mi mamá, venden cosas súper bonitas y la tienda es súper grande. Lo que no me gustó es que estaba todo desordenado, realmente no me sorprende porque hay muchas personas que tienen esa mala costumbre de agarrar algo y dejarlo botado en donde se supone que no estaba. Pero bueno, obviando un poco eso, si venden cosas súper bonitas y muy accesibles.
After drinking our chicha, we went to the 'Mango Bajito' store that had opened there in the shopping center a few days before. We took a picture with a Santa Claus and headed to Mango Bajito. My mom got to see it before me, and she told me that it was super big and they had super nice things. I didn't want to be left in doubt so I was also looking forward to meeting her. To my impression, if it was as my mom had said, they sell super nice things and the store is super big. What I didn't like is that it was all messy, I'm not really surprised because there are many people who have that bad habit of grabbing something and leaving it thrown away where it wasn't supposed to be. But well, apart from that, they do sell very nice and affordable things.

Yo me compré un block de yoga porque necesitaba otro, ya que solo tenía uno, también me compré un espejo y 2 termos, uno para mi, y otro que le guardé a mi novio Gabo para meterlo en su bolsa de regalo en diciembre. 😊 Mi mamá compró otras cositas que le gustaron y yo también quise regalarle algo a pesar de que ella me había dicho que no era necesario que lo hiciera. Hicimos la cola para pagar, y luego nos fuimos a la feria de comida para comer algo.
I bought myself a yoga block because I needed another one, since I only had one, I also bought a mirror and 2 thermoses, one for me, and another one that I kept for my boyfriend Gabo to put in his gift bag in December. 😊 My mom bought other little things she liked and I wanted to get her something too even though she had told me I didn't need to. We stood in line to pay, then went to the food fair to get something to eat.
Cuando llegamos a la feria de comida, decidimos comer comida china. El local a donde fuimos se llama "Restaurant Liang Lucky, C.A, la comida de China". Toda persona que pase frente a ese local, se lleva un pedacito de carne o pollo, y lo digo porque la dueña a parte de atender a los clientes, se encarga de enamorarlos con un pedacito de su comida. Antes de pedir nuestra comida, la chinita nos ofreció un pedacito de carne a mi y a mi mamá, y aunque estaba súper sabrosa, a mi me llamó más la atención el pollo con calabacín y brócoli. Ese fue el contorno que yo pedí, acompañado con el arroz. Mi mamá pidió la carne que la chinita nos regaló al principio igualmente con arroz, y ella nos obsequió un refresco. Yo no soy amante del refresco y cuando me ofrecen bebo muy poco, de pequeña si bebía mucho, pero luego de un tiempo hasta acá he dejado el refresco. Para acompañar a mi mamá decidí tomar un poquito, y lo que quedó ella se lo quiso llevar para la casa.
When we arrived at the food fair, we decided to eat Chinese food. The place where we went is called "Restaurant Liang Lucky, C.A., the food of China". Every person who passes in front of this place, takes a little piece of meat or chicken, and I say this because the owner, besides attending the customers, is in charge of making them fall in love with a little piece of her food. Before ordering our food, the chinita offered me and my mom a little piece of meat, and although it was super tasty, I was more attracted to the chicken with zucchini and broccoli. That was the contorno that I ordered, accompanied with the rice. My mom ordered the meat that the chinita gave us at the beginning, also with rice, and she gave us a soda. I am not a soda lover and when I am offered I drink very little, when I was a little girl I used to drink a lot, but after a while I have stopped drinking soda. To accompany my mom I decided to drink a little, and what was left she wanted to take home.

La chinita nos sirvió tanta comida que yo no pude con todo jajaja, mi mamá tampoco, así que le pedimos un envase para llevar y nos llevamos lo que quedó. Reposamos un ratico y luego le dije a mi mamá para comprar el postre. Todo el que me conoce sabe que yo no puedo vivir sin helado, así que obviamente el postre tenía que ser helado jajaja. Compré una barquilla para mi y otra para mi mamá, estaba súper rica y cremosa. Luego de comerla, reposamos otro ratico, nos tomamos otras selfies y empezamos a bajar las escaleras para dirigirnos a nuestra casa. Para nuestra sorpresa, nos encontramos con mi profesora de 1er grado, Ana María. Yo me alegré mucho al verla porque es una persona que desde que vi clases con ella en mi niñez, es de ese tipo de personas que te marcaron y nunca podrás olvidarlas. Ella no sólo me dio clases a mi, sino que también le dio clases a mis 3 hermanas, y las 4 pensamos lo mismo, la profesora Ana Maria es una de las mejores profesoras que nos pudo tocar, por su amor al darnos clases, por su comprensión, su cariño y un montón de cosas más que la definen. No dudé en pedirle una foto y también nos tomamos una grupal con mi mamá y una amiga que acompañaba a la profesora Ana Maria. Empezamos a hablar sobre el pasado y el presente, la profesora Ana Maria nos preguntó a mi mamá y a mi cómo estaban mis hermanas, así que la conversación se extendió y empezamos a buscarle fotos para que ella viera como estaban actualmente mis hermanas. La profe Ana súper amable, nos ofreció llevarnos a casa. Nos fuimos al estacionamiento y luego nos montamos en su carro para seguir hablando del mismo tema.
The chinita served us so much food that I couldn't take it all hahaha, neither could my mom, so we asked her for a to-go container and took what was left. We rested for a while and then I told my mom to buy dessert. Everyone who knows me knows that I can't live without ice cream, so obviously dessert had to be ice cream hahaha. I bought one scoop for me and another one for my mom, it was super yummy and creamy. After eating it, we rested for another while, took another selfies and started walking down the stairs to head home. To our surprise, we ran into my 1st grade teacher, Ana Maria. I was very happy to see her because she is a person that since I saw classes with her in my childhood, she is one of those people that marked you and you can never forget them. She not only taught me, but she also taught my 3 sisters, and all 4 of us think the same thing, Ana Maria is one of the best teachers that we could have, for her love when teaching us, for her understanding, her affection and a lot of other things that define her. I didn't hesitate to ask her for a picture and we also took a group picture with my mom and a friend who was accompanying the teacher Ana Maria. We started talking about the past and the present, the teacher Ana Maria asked my mom and me how my sisters were, so the conversation was extended and we started looking for pictures for her to see how my sisters were now. Teacher Ana was super nice and offered us a ride home. We went to the parking lot and then got in her car to continue talking about the same topic.

Al llegar a casa, nos despedimos de la profe Ana y le agradecimos por haberse ofrecido a traernos. Realmente se lo agradecimos un montón porque ese día tanto mi mamá como yo, nos habíamos ido al C.C caminando y estábamos súper agotadas. La profe Ana me compartió su número telefónico para comunicarse conmigo de vez en cuando así que yo también guardé su número.
When we got home, we said goodbye to Ana and thanked her for offering to bring us. We really thanked her a lot because that day both my mom and I had gone walking to the shopping center and we were super exhausted. Prof. Ana shared her phone number to contact me from time to time so I saved her number too.
De esa manera mi mamá y yo culminamos nuestra última salida del año. La pasamos súper chevere, disfrutamos nuestra comida, nuestro postre, nuestro encuentro con mi profesora de la infancia, pero sobretodo, disfrutamos nuestra compañía de madre e hija. That's how my mom and I finished our last outing of the year. We had a great time, we enjoyed our food, our dessert, our meeting with my childhood teacher, but above all, we enjoyed our mother and daughter company.
