Hoy quiero homenajear a mi padre a propósito de su día, él siempre ha estado conmigo en los peores y mejores momentos de mi vida, guiándome con sus palabras y su fe. "A uno nunca le falta Dios" es su frase favorita y es la que más me aferro en los momentos difíciles.

Mi mamá me cuenta que a ella y a mi papá les costó mucho tenerme, visitaron médicos y probaron varios tratamientos pero nada parecía dar resultado hasta que finalmente lo lograron, entonces cuando mi mamá le dio la noticia de su embarazo a mi papá, él se puso muy feliz, puedo imaginar su cara perfectamente y desde entonces me ha dado todo su amor y yo a él.
My mom tells me that she and my dad had a hard time having me, they visited doctors and tried several treatments but nothing seemed to work until they finally did, then when my mom gave the news of her pregnancy to my dad, he was very happy, I can imagine his face perfectly and since then he has given me all his love and me to him.
Mi papi tiene un carácter fuerte, heredado de su padre, la mayoría de las veces tiene el seño fruncido y es bastante terco, siempre ha sido así, pero la verdad es yo no puedo reprochárselo ya que (tal y como dicen mi mamá y mi hermana, yo heredé su mismo carácter) sin embargo su mejor cualidad radica en su nobleza y en lo buen padre que es. Nunca olvidaré las veces que accedió a jugar una partida de videojuegos conmigo a pesar de que probablemente solo quería descansar luego de una ardua jornada laborar, y que además debía viajar a la ciudad todos los días para ir al trabajo y nosotros vivíamos en un pueblo al oeste del estado.
My daddy has a strong character, inherited from his father, most of the time he has a frown and is quite stubborn, he has always been like that, but the truth is I can't reproach him because (as my mom and my sister say, I inherited his same character) however his best quality lies in his nobility and in what a good father he is. Papi, creo que nunca podré expresar con palabras lo agradecida que estoy de que seas mi padre, de que siempre hayas estado ahí, procurándome mucho más cariño del que tú recibiste de niño, agradezco tus consejos y tu nobleza. Me gustaría poder retribuir todo lo que me has dado a lo largo de los años, gracias por llevarme a todos lados cuando era niña, gracias por pensar en mi siempre, gracias por tu comprensión y por la fe que siempre has tenido en mi.

También quiero agradecer a esta hermosa comunidad por permitirnos expresar nuestros sentimientos y resaltar esos valores familiares que siempre han sido importantes, pero que hoy en día debemos reforzar. I also want to thank this beautiful community for allowing us to express our feelings and highlight those family values that have always been important, but that today we must reinforce.
