¡Hola amigos de @family-friends!
Es mi primera vez por esta comunidad, pero espero sea la primera de muchas. Su iniciativa sobre un regalo significativo para papá me llamó mucho la atención. Tenia días pensando sobre que hacer o regalarles en estos días.
No tengo a mi papá cerca, pero tengo figuras paternas muy importantes para mí, así que quise honrarlos de alguna manera. Aprovechamos la oportunidad del día del padre para invitar a desayunar, en compañía de mi hermano, a mi abuelo Tulio y mi tío José Jaime.
Ambos son figuras importantes para mí. Me ayudaron en mi crecimiento, me guiaron e influyeron en la mujer que soy hoy en día. Mi abuelo Tulio ha sido un abuelo increíble, muy presente en mi vida y pendiente sobre todo lo que emprendo. Me gradué como licenciada en bioanálisis gracias a él. Esa es una historia algo larga, pero les puedo decir que fue un momento caótico de mi vida y él me acompañó en todo el proceso de buscar un cupo en la universidad. Durante mi tesis y graduación me acompañó en todos los trámites, corriendo de un lado a otro para lograr llegar a la meta. A mi abuelo le debo el mundo entero y más. No me va a alcanzar la vida para agradecer todos los helados que me compro de chiquita, las veces que jugó cartas de digimon conmigo sin entender que eran y todo lo que ha hecho hasta hoy y no alcanzo a recordar.
Con mi tío Jose Jaime es una historia parecida. Me dio mi primer empleo y aunque me tuvo como un mes abriendo huecos a documentos, llegó un punto donde me inicio en el mundo de la contabilidad y aprendí demasiado. No solo del tema contable, me enseñó sobre independencia y trabajar con otros. Aprendí muchísimo de él, cosas que todavía aplico en mi vida. Honestamente, es el tío alcahueta y yo he sido también la sobrina alcahueta. Sé que puedo voltear y lo veré detrás empujando para que no me detenga en mi camino. Ha sido un apoyo muy importante en estos momentos.
No me puedo quejar. Tengo dos seres maravillosos (y no son los únicos, pero hoy les toco a ellos) que han influido en la mujer que soy hoy y por los que cada día intento ser mejor. Me va a faltar vida para agradecerles con actos y regalos lo que han hecho por mí. Hoy mi regalo más que llevarlos a comer arepas de cochino (mi abuelo es alto fan de las arepas de cochino y mi tío también), mi regalo fue sentarnos, conversar y reír. Tiempo de calidad con ellos y una buena comida.
Como pueden ver en las fotos la pasamos genial, principalmente en la de mi abuelo y su sonrisa “especial” jajaja. Creo que les gusto y me alegro verlos felices.

This is my first time through this community, but I hope it's the first of many. Your initiative about a meaningful gift for dad really caught my attention. I had been thinking for days about what to do or give them these days.
I don't have my dad around, but I have very important father figures for me, so I wanted to honor them in some way. We took the opportunity of Father's Day to invite my grandfather Tulio and my uncle José Jaime to breakfast with my brother.
They are both important figures to me. They helped me grow, guided me and influenced the woman I am today. My grandfather Tulio has been an incredible grandfather, very present in my life and very present in everything I undertake. I graduated with a degree in bioanalysis thanks to him. That is a long story, but I can tell you that it was a chaotic moment in my life and he accompanied me throughout the process of looking for a place in the university. During my thesis and graduation he accompanied me through all the paperwork, running from one place to another to reach my goal. I owe my grandfather the whole world and more. I will never be able to thank him for all the ice cream he bought me when I was little, the times he played digimon cards with me without understanding what they were and everything he has done until today that I can't even remember.
With my uncle Jose Jaime it is a similar story. He gave me my first job and although he had me for a month opening holes in documents, there came a point where I started in the world of accounting and I learned too much. Not only about accounting, he taught me about independence and working with others. I learned a lot from him, things that I still apply in my life. Honestly, he is the pimp uncle and I have been the pimp niece too. I know I can turn around and I'll see him behind me pushing me so he won't stop me in my tracks. He has been a very important support in these moments.
I can't complain. I have two wonderful people (and they are not the only ones, but today it's their turn) who have influenced the woman I am today and for whom I try to be better every day. I will have a lifetime to thank them with acts and gifts for what they have done for me. Today my gift more than taking them to eat arepas de cochino (my grandfather is a big fan of arepas de cochino and so is my uncle), my gift was to sit, talk and laugh. Quality time with them and a good meal.
As you can see in the pictures we had a great time, mainly my grandfather and his "special" smile hahaha. I think they liked me and I'm glad to see them happy.
