In my short life I have met many people who say the following, "In this life there are no friends". That is a sad phrase in itself and I honestly don't think it is true. We may not have many people we can consider friends, but there are.
Precisely, today I will tell you a little bit about a person I consider my friend, a neighbor with whom I usually get together to make crafts. I hope you enjoy this short story.

I live alone in my house, so most of the day I don't have anyone around to share anecdotes with at breakfast, tell stories at lunch or just talk about how the day was at dinner; however, from time to time I go to visit my grandmother's house or, as I mentioned, to visit this neighbor.
She lives alone with her granddaughter, most of her children are out of the country so from time to time she invites me to her house to eat or to make crafts, as she is very good at making them and I love crafts too.
To make a long story short, she invited me to make some crafts for a little party she was throwing for her granddaughter, to make up for the good grades she got in her violin classes.

The nice thing about working with a person who has literally years of experience working with crafts is that you learn techniques that you don't know.
In the three pictures above you can see that she used a sponge to paint the leaves. I had never seen how they painted in that way and it was really nice to learn from an expert.

I love animals, so I really enjoy the company of these innocent little creatures that only return love to those who treat them well.

A mi me encantan los animales, así que disfruto mucho la compañía de estas pequeñas e inocentes criaturas, que solo devuelven amor a quienes las tratan bien.
