Hola amigos me presento hoy en su hermosa comunidad, es para mi un verdadero placer compartir con ustedes por primera vez una publicación y en este caso referente a una esencia de mi vida y mi experiencia con mi familia y su hacienda de cacao está a pasado de generación era de los padres de mi abuelo materno y mi abuela materna desde que se casaron lo ha apoyado y trabajado duro con el abuelo, pues también viene de raíces con familia que se dedican a la agricultura y como le he hablado anteriormente en otro post me crié con mis abuelos y tíos así que desde pequeños nos enseñaron a los primos y a mi a trabajar la tierra.

Cerca de la casa de los abuelos en la parte baja comienza la hacienda y hay una parte de los árboles de cacao solo bajamos un buen trecho con mucho cuidado y encontramos unas 50 matas de cacao .

Aquí ya lo tenemos en el saco para llevarlo a casa para dejarlo en un sitio donde le pegue el sol, este proceso es importante porque era lo que decían mis abuelos que había que dejarlo curtir por un día, luego de eso lo sacamos al sol, el proceso es un poco complejo; pero lo más importante es el sol así que cuando ya estamos en casa lo extendemos en un piso de cemento o madera y dejamos que le pegue el sol y con los pies o un rastrillo lo meneamos para que vaya secando todos al mismo tiempo sino esta haciendo sol y el día esta lluvioso lo debemos recoger y colocarlo dentro en un lugar con techo y hacer el mismo procedimiento estirarlo en el piso pero el procedimiento es más lento para el secado y se corre riesgo con el cacao.

Miren aquí ya está el cacao listo y seco, ya está listo para la venta con semillas de color marrón bien uniforme recuerden que en este proceso depende que quede bien seco el cacao y se pueda vender a buen precio si algunas de las semillas quedan negras o le cae mojo se pierde parte del trabajo y parte de la cosecha además no van a pagar los granos del cacao a un precio bueno.
Aquí tenemos unos 40 kilos de cacao tomadas de una de las hacienda más pequeña de la casa, recuerden que ahora hay pequeñas hacienda porque fue con partida entre varios hermanos y la hacienda más grande le quedó al 5to hijo de mis abuelos .

Así que amigos crecí entre haciendas de cacao familiar destacando que este es el único ingreso económico con que cuenta la familia, sino trabajan la tierra no tiene ingreso ya que son netamente agricultores pues contamos con una familia muy linda, humilde y trabajadora de la agricultura del cacao que es el fruto querido por todo el mundo ya que él es el chocolate que tantos nos gusta y amamos y que conocemos en los dulces,golosinas, tabletas, turrones, en polvo y en tantos cientos de variantes de productos hecho con cacao a nivel mundial.
Además de este fruto el cacao también se cultiva otras cosechas como verduras y frutas tropicales que son para el uso de consumo diario de la casa y para la ventas en el mercado y de esto hablaremos después e igual les hablaré de la hacienda más grande de cacao de la familia la cual queda a unas 4 horas de camino hacia la montaña y les prometo fotos para las próximas publicaciones .
