Hace unos días mi novio me trajo un postre al llegar de trabajar y como amo tanto el dulce no me pude resistir y lo probé inmediatamente.
Cuando vi el empaque de lejos pensé que se trataba de papitas o algo así, pero al ver el nombre supe que contenía.
''Mr. Brown'' era lo que se leía en la parte del frente, era un brownie relleno de arequipe, lo que me dieron muchas más ganas de probarlo. Creo que el Brownie es de mis postres favoritos.
Me sorprendió ver que se vencía pronto, en noviembre. No sé realmente dónde lo compro o quién se lo regaló ya que en su trabajo normalmente les regalan dulces y cosas así.

A few days ago my boyfriend brought me a dessert when he came home from work and since I love sweets so much I couldn't resist and I tried it immediately.
When I saw the package from a distance I thought it was chips or something like that, but when I saw the name I knew what it contained.
Mr. Brown'' was what it read on the front, it was a brownie filled with arequipe, which made me want to try it even more. I think brownie is one of my favorite desserts.
I was surprised to see that it was expiring soon, in November. I don't really know where she bought it or who gave it to her as her work usually gives them candy and such.

El brownie se sentía suave, no tenía la capa dura encima que se forma al hornear pero no quise juzgar antes de probarlo.
Di la primera mordida, estaba delicioso. Super suave, aunque no tan húmedo como son los brownies, supongo que al estar tanto tiempo empacado pierde ese toque, no lo sé.
Pero la verdad, en cuánto a sabor, no había nada que criticar. También me tenía un poco escéptica el hecho de que no es un brownie casero y normalmente los postres fabricados de esta forma cambian mucho el sabor y la calidad de hacerlos a mano. Yo suelo ser muy tediosa con esto, por ejemplo las pizzas no me saben igual si son hechas en horno eléctrico, las prefiero en horno de piedra.

The brownie felt soft, it didn't have the hard layer on top that forms when baking but I didn't want to judge before tasting it.
I took the first bite, it was delicious. Super soft, although not as moist as the brownies are, I guess being so long packed it loses that touch, I don't know.
But the truth is, as far as taste goes, there was nothing to criticize. I was also a little skeptical about the fact that it's not a homemade brownie and usually the desserts made this way change a lot the taste and quality of making them by hand. I tend to be very tedious with this, for example pizzas don't taste the same to me if they are made in an electric oven, I prefer them in a stone oven.
Seguí disfrutando mi Brownie pero el olor y el sonido de la bolsa atrajo a mi perrita Kira. Ella se saboreaba el Brownie y lo miraba con mucho deseo, pero no se les puede dar chocolate a los perros, así que solo le di a probar una muy mínima cantidad.

I continued to enjoy my Brownie but the smell and sound of the bag attracted my little dog Kira. She was tasting the Brownie and looking at it with a lot of desire, but you can't give chocolate to dogs, so I only gave her a very minimal amount to taste.
Besides, she tends to be quite sickly and I don't want her to continue to lose weight because of vomiting.
Kira wasn't very happy with the amount to try, so I tried to eat the Brownie a little faster.
I think from this moment on, this Brownie has become one of my favorite treats. I hope to find it in a store soon.
