Esta primera semana de enero ha sido de organizar algunas cosas y preparar todo para comenzar el año con un buen pie. Organizando, me he encontrado con una caja llena de figuritas y tazos de Pokémon, que estuve reuniendo por allá en el 2000-2001. Todo se ha conservado en muy buen estado y han pasado unos 23 años aproximadamente. En aquella época, no tenía mucho tiempo de haber salido Pokémon y para mí era todo un vicio poder disfrutar de todo lo relacionado con esta serie animada, que honestamente me permitió disfrutar con buenas amistades de todo tipo de contenido y que actualmente lo sigue haciendo.
This first week of January has been about organizing some things and preparing everything to start the year on a good foot. Organizing, I found a box full of Pokémon figurines and flippo's, which I was collecting back in 2000-2001. Everything has been preserved in very good condition and it's been about 23 years or so. At that time, Pokémon had not been out for long and for me it was a vice to enjoy everything related to this animated series, which honestly allowed me to enjoy with good friends all kinds of content and still does today.
No recordaba lo bien que se veían estas figuritas de Pokémon, me encanta todos los detalles y creo que es hora de que salgan a la luz y sean colocado en una repisa, así que ya ando pensando lo que voy a realizar con ellas. No sé cuánto dinero gane en doritos, papitas Ruffles, Cheetos y todos esos productos relacionados, lo que sé es que apenas tenía el dinero en la mano, iba al abasto más cercado a ver que figura me salía. Recuerdo que llego un punto es que ni me comía el contenido de la bolsa, solo buscaba la figurita y el resto lo botaba jaja.
I didn't remember how good these Pokémon figurines looked, I love all the details and I think it's time for them to come to light and be placed on a shelf, so I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do with them. I don't know how much money I earned in Doritos, Ruffles chips, Cheetos and all those related products, what I do know is that as soon as I had the money in my hand, I went to the nearest grocery store to see what figure I could get. I remember that at one point I didn't even eat the contents of the bag, I just looked for the figurine and the rest I threw it away haha.
Recuerdo que fue una época muy bonita, creo que éramos más de 20 niños-jóvenes que nos reunimos en las tardes para saber que figuritas habíamos tenido, intercambiarlas, hablar de los episodios y jugar con los tazos, porque los tazos Pokémon nos hacía tener batallas increíbles, con lágrimas cuando se perdía un tazo, pero sin duda fue una época en donde las sencillez de las cosas, en donde un simple episodio de Pokémon hacía que nos reuniéramos a jugar y pasar un momento agradable.
I remember that it was a very nice time, I think we were more than 20 kids-young people who met in the afternoons to know which figurines we had had, exchange them, talk about the episodes and play with the flippo's, because the Pokémon flippo's made us have incredible battles, with tears when a tazo was lost, but it was certainly a time where the simplicity of things, where a simple Pokémon episode made us get together to play and have a good time.

Ojalá volvieran a salir estos coleccionables de Pokémon, creo que gastaría todos mis ahorros jajaja. Hay otra cosa coleccionable de Pokémon que también tengo, pero eso lo dejo para otro momento, capaz algunos saben de qué se trate y para otros sea algo nuevo. Todo esto ha hecho que vuelva a jugar algunos juegos de Pokémon del pasado, dicen que uno vuelve a donde es feliz y aquí estamos 😅. Déjame saber si en algún momento llegaste a saber de estas figuras o tazos y cual fue tu experiencia.
I wish these Pokémon collectibles would come out again, I think I would spend all my savings hahaha. There is another Pokémon collectible that I also have, but I'll leave that for another time, maybe some people know what it is and for others it's something new. All this has made me go back to play some Pokémon games from the past, they say you go back to where you are happy and here we are 😅.
