Purchase of a smart speaker (EN-ES)

It's been a while since I've stopped by. I think since I shared with you the purchase of my last hearing aids last year. Well, I tell you that I have to buy new ones because those are not working very well anymore. I could say that what happens is that I have no luck with hearing aids, but, no! This time, this argument does not fit. I have stepped on them several times! Some on the connector and others on the headphones.... So I'll have to buy new ones. When I do, I'll come by and tell you about it. Now, I'll stop by again to tell you about my new acquisition: A smart speaker.

I was in need of a speaker for my computer, as the internal one is failing. Sometimes, it sounds like little cockroaches in the background and I didn't like to hear anything like that. This was limiting me, as I couldn't listen to my favorite podcasts, while doing any work around the house. I had to do it through the cell phone with the headphones and I did not feel very comfortable, I got tangled with the cable of the headphones and because of this, many times I dropped them and stepped on them, as I told you above.

I wanted a Sony speaker like my daughter's to connect my computer and cell phone, but, at this time, I also have to make one more investment to change my cell phone, so I could not afford the price of the speaker I wanted and, also, to buy the cell phone.

However, since the need is real, I told my husband to go out and look at other options and we found a speaker that fit our budget and with acceptable features.

Hace tiempo que no pasaba por aquí. Creo que desde que compartí, con ustedes, la compra de mis últimos audífonos el año pasado. Pues, les cuento que tengo que comprar otros porque esos ya no están funcionando muy bien. Podría decir que lo que pasa es que no tengo suerte con los audífonos, ¡pero, no! Esta vez, no cabe este argumento. ¡Los he pisado varias veces! Unas en el conector y otras en los auriculares... Así que me tocará comprar otros. Cuando sea así, paso y les cuento. Ahora, paso de nuevo por aquí para contarles de mi nueva adquisición: Una bocina inteligente

Estaba necesitando una bocina para mi computadora, pues la interna está fallando. A veces, se escuchan como unas cucarachitas en el fondo y no me gustaba escuchar nada así. Esto me limitaba, pues no podía escuchar mis podcast favoritos, mientras hacía cualquier labor en casa. Tenía que hacerlo por el celular con los audífonos y no me sentía muy cómoda, me enredaba con el cable de los mismos y por esto, muchas veces los dejaba caer y los pisaba, como les conté arriba.

Yo quería una bocina Sony como la de mi hija para conectar mi computadora y el celular, pero, en estos momentos, también tengo que hacer una inversión más para cambiar mi teléfono celular, así que no podía pagar el precio de la bocina que quería y, también, comprar el celular.

Sin embargo, como la necesidad es real, le dije a mi esposo que saliéramos a ver otras opciones y encontramos una bocina que se ajustaba a nuestro presupuesto y con características aceptables.

We went to the store Panamericana Librería y Papelería and there we found a speaker that we really liked from Aiwa. The speaker comes with a USB charger cable and a 3.5 mm AUX audio cable.

In its specifications you can read that it has several audio inputs, among them: Bluetooth and MicroSD. In addition, it supports MP3, has an output power of 4.5Wx2 and the effective distance is 10m.

One of the things that caught our attention and made us decide to buy this speaker is that it has FM Radio. We love listening to the radio and we loved this option, because until now we had been listening to Colombian radio stations on our cell phones.

The AW31CB speaker charges in approximately two hours and can operate for eight hours. It can also work with batteries, which is a plus if I want to take it somewhere and I don't have the cables to charge it.

Another important feature is that it has a built-in microphone, so you can receive calls if it is connected to your cell phone.

We compared the prices of other speakers with less specifications and it seemed to us that the Aiwa speaker was the best for the price-features ratio. So we didn't think much about it and bought it for 129,900 Colombian pesos, which is equivalent to approximately $29.

Fuimos hasta la tienda Panamericana Librería y Papelería y ahí encontramos una bocina que nos gustó mucho de la marca Aiwa. La bocina trae un cable cargador USB y un cable de audio AUX de 3,5 mm.

En sus especificaciones se puede leer que tiene varias entradas de audio, entre ellas: Bluetooth y MicroSD. Además, soporta MP3, tiene una potencia de salida de 4.5Wx2 y la distancia efectiva es de 10m.

Una de las cosas que nos llamó la atención y nos hizo tomar la decisión de comprar esta bocina es que tiene Radio FM. Nosotros somos amantes de escuchar radio y esta opción nos encantó, pues hasta ahora veníamos escuchando las emisoras colombianas en los celulares.

La bocina AW31CB se carga en dos horas aproximadamente y puede funcionar durante ocho horas. También, puede funcionar con baterías, lo cual es un plus si la quiero llevar a algún lugar y no tengo a mano los cables para cargarla.

Otra característica importante es que tiene un micrófono integrado, de este modo se pueden recibir llamadas si está conectada al celular.

Comparamos los precios de otras bocinas con menos especificaciones y nos pareció que la bocina Aiwa era la mejor por la relación precio-características. Así que no lo pensamos mucho y la compramos por 129.900 pesos colombianos, lo que equivale a $29 aproximadamente.

I am very happy with this acquisition because now I will be able to listen to podcasts, videos and watch movies from my laptop with good sound and also listen to the radio with the comfort that this speaker allows us.
