Feathered Friends - Photo Contest Round 183 ~ The Coot

Hello Hivers..

How are you all friends..? I hope you are all well. Back in the Feathered Friends contest - Photo Contest Round 183 organized by @nelinoeva, this time I share about the photo of the bubut bird.

The magpie robin is known for its unique adaptation to hunting insects at night. With feathers that mimic their surroundings and distinctive calls, they offer interesting and exotic nature portraits. Photographing magpie robins requires choosing the right location, usually an open area or a forest that is rarely disturbed. The best time to shoot is at dusk or dawn, when these birds are actively hunting.

Photographing magpie robins requires extra patience. Because their activities are limited to the night, it often takes quite a long time to get satisfactory results. Consistently observing the bird's behavioral patterns can help in planning more effective photography sessions.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
