The time has already come when small flocks of these charming birds can be found in forests and parks. In the spring and summer they were neither seen nor heard, as they were busy with their everyday routine affairs - feeding and teaching children. And now, when their children have grown up, they unite in small flocks and fly together from one forest to another. Of course, these family flocks join with other flocks, and other flocks of other birds.

It's not easy for them in winter. Their small short beaks are not capable of crushing and grinding large nuts and seeds, as other birds such as great tits can do. Therefore, they diligently search for food, looking under every branch or leaf, they look for small plant seeds.
