This turns out to be a very charismatic bird, their vocalization is quite loud and they are always defending their territory, but to my understanding, their greatest talent is the sounds they are able to reproduce. Hola amigos, saludos y bendiciones, hoy les quiero compartir algunas fotografías que he hecho del Red-legged Thrush, o Zorzal de patas coloradas en español. Esta resulta ser una ave muy carismática, su vocalización es bastante ruidosa y siempre están defendiendo su territorio, pero para mi entender, su mayor talento son los sonidos que son capaces de reproducir. Les cuento:
When I first started birding, I spent hours in the forest trying to identify the species of bird that made such a peculiar sound, and not only me, even some friends who had been doing it for a long time helped me in this task. In the end we discovered that it was the Red-legged Thrush, which is capable of reproducing an amazing amount of sounds, they are literally magnificent.
Al principio de comenzar en la observación de aves, en reiteradas ocasiones estuve horas en el bosque tratando de identificar cuál era la especie de ave que hacía un sonido tan peculiar, y no solo yo, hasta algunos amigos que llevaban tiempo en estos menesteres me ayudaban en dicha tarea. Al final descubríamos que era el Red-legged Thrush, que es capaz de reproducir una cantidad de sonidos asombrosos, son literalmente magníficos.
