Last weekend I visited Lake Neusiedler together with Stefan for some bird photography and I am happy that I was again very successful in taking several nice pictures of birds. It is always such a nice time that I really enjoy there. A lot of birds of prey and also some owls where there and I will show you these pictures in another article her on hive, but now I want to show you the pictures of the small songbirds first. One thing that really helps is that I can get really close to birds there. And the birds have a lot of places to perch so it is easy to get a clean shot of them.

Since there is a lot of reed and several nice small bushes at the national park Neusiedler See there are a lot of songbirds pearching on the bushes and small branches. Therefore it is easier to get some nice clean pictures of these birds. While when taking pictures in the forest or in the wetlands of the Inn River is a little bit more difficult and there are usually not so much nice places where the birds can pearch. Now in spring it is a great time to take pictures of perching birds.
