We have quite a few bald eagles here
Along the north side of Kamloops lake there are several bald eagle nests. This tree is always home to a nesting pair.
At this time of year there were no eaglets in the nest (out of frame below) but this big bald was more than happy to use it as a perch to hunt.
Typically I try to show the eye of my subject but in this case I felt the feathers in front of the face was worth making an exception.
