Hello feathered friends! I was checking out the communities I'm honored to be a part of, and I came across this wonderful contest here, the #SMAP. I certainly have many photos of birds, but to impress me among the ones I have treasured are those of the hummingbirds that come to my patio. Sometimes they land on the string and rest for a few seconds, which gives me the opportunity to get up to the meter and a half effective focus distance that my telezoom, Sigma 150-600, gives me. This time I was able to juxtapose this little bird (cuban emerald) against one of the clothespins. The first photo is the one I consider for this contest. The second one is an extreme closeup.
