The most recent SpendHBD contest I organized for Nigerian shoppers was supposed to end today (Wednesday 23rd October, 2024). However, I have decided to extend the time a little bit in order to make it fair for all participants. So the contest will be extended by 3 days, to now end on Saturday 26th October, 2024.
The reason for pushing this contest time forward is because of the image uploading issue that distriator experienced some days back. Shoppers here could not buy anything at the listed shops because it was not possible to claim discounts with the image issue. Now that the issue seems to have been resolved, the contest would need more time for all participants to recover lost time. Hence, the reason to extend it.
So everyone has 3 more days to shop more and try to do more than others in order to win. Remember to drop a comment in the original contest announcement post to confirm your interest to participate. Everyone is invited to join.

We are working hard to list more shops and also get buyers to sign up. We hope to have many new users join hive through this project.
ShoKiN about to Launch
We are trying to create the largest network of shoppers in Nigeria. We call it Shoppers Konnect Nigeria. The overwhelming positive response I got from friends means that they love the idea and there is no need to waste time again. Read more about it here.
This coming Saturday (26th October, 2024.), ShoKiN will be launched with the first members of the group shopping as a group. We hope that distriator app will be stable on that day to enable a smooth group shopping experience. If you are in Aba city, Nigeria, you can join us at 208 Azikiwe Road Aba. The time is 10 A.M. After a brief headsup about ShoKiN, we will then move to the designated shops to buy as a group.
Going forward, we hope that more new users will join sign up and join ShoKiN. Over time, we will become the largest shoppers group ever. Other great things will happen from that network, so don miss it.
Finally
SpendHBD is a powerful, practical and most attractive use-case of crypto in everyday life. It really the best way to onboard new users to Hive. This project is actually under-valued because it has a huge potential to power mass adoption of cryptocurrency. I will continue to promote it and do my best together with other local guides to create more awareness for it in Nigeria.
