I am pleased to present winners of the SpendHBD contest that I announced last week for Nigerian shoppers. The aim is to encourage more shopping and spending activity by Nigerians as we joined this amazing project recently.
In this post, we are about to see the top 3 winners who claimed more cashback discounts and HBD earnings than others. Lets quickly get into that.
The top 3 winners and prizes
After I announced the contest, 13 persons indicated interest to join it by commenting on the contest announcement post. I took time to check all their activities and here are the top 3 performers:
1st Position: @bummblebee - 13 claims, 6.15 HBD cashback
2nd Position: @iamchimary - 6 claims, 3.81 HBD cashback
3rd Position: @wendy-t - 4 claims, 1.67 HBD cashback
Just as announced earlier, A total of 5 HBD is to be shared to the winners. 1st position wins 2.5 HBD, 2nd position wins 1.5 HBD and 3rd position wins 1 HBD

A nice first impression - shops update
The Nigeria users just joined this project about a week ago and this has been a fine start as they tried to learn how to use the service. It is hoped that going forward, more activity will be recorded by this group. There will equally be more new users that will join as more awareness is being created for SpendHBD in Nigeria.
Effort is also being made to list more new businesses. This will make it easy for participants to shop at locations close to their place of work or home. Meanwhile, below are the already listed businesses in Nigeria
