Getting ready for Shokin Day5 and introducing a newbie to Hive and SpendHBD.

Hello Hive shoppers!! its a very sunny day over here in my city Aba, Nigeria.

One of the stories recorded in the Greek scriptures told of a man who couldn't contain his joy even when he was told to tell nobody after he was cured of his ailment. He went about telling people how he received healing. This joy this man felt can be likened to how overwhelmed with happiness I was when I made my first shopping with HBD and received a discount from the distriator.

Since I didn't just hear but saw, I went ahead to "proclaim the goodness of" @SpendHBD and the @distriator.

One of the people I informed was my sister @debbydaniels. After I carefully explained how the whole initiative works, she was already eager to make her first shopping.

So today, before it was noon we were already at @fokusnow's office for her HIVE onboarding and educating on how to scan after purchase and how to claim the discount from the distriator.

As they were processing the Hive account, I decided to test the fitting of my SpendHBD branded T-shirt that I preordered in preparation for the Day5 of our Shokin (A spendHBD activity where we shop or get items in groups using the Hive-backed Dollar) scheduled to hold on the 25th of November. Because of some situations beyond my control I was not able to make it to the previous ones they've been to. I'm not missing this activity for anything this time around.

TAKING DEBBY TO HER FIRST SPENDHBD SHOPPING

So after @debbydaniels' HIVE account was set up, we decided to go spend some HIVE dollars. We visited God's Own Int'l Supermarket. I love this place!! The shop attendants were friendly. The shop owner even gave me a satchet water for free today, kind right?? My point exactly!!

Some of the things I bought include a pack of spaghetti, a tissue paper, a cake, a can of softdrinks, and other items. Debby bought a diaper for her enfant child, an air freshener, and some other things I wasn't very observant to notice, considering the fact that I was busy picking my own items.

During the shopping process, I saw other Hive shoppers who came to make transactions too and to claim their discounts. One of them was @empressjay, my very good friend. She was the one that introduced me to the HIVE community. I owe her a pack of cornflakes. Hahahaha.

Of course, she met my sister too, and we took pictures together after claiming our discounts from distriator.

I was not able to engage with the other shoppers like I would have loved to because we were already done when they arrived. I hope to meet them in Shokin Day5. I intend on bringing along with me another friend of mine who's interested in joining the block chain and SpendHBD for sure.

I will always say this. I am very happy and proud to be a part of the SpendHBD community and of course, HIVE.
