when I saw the theme of this week's open mic which is prejudice, I thought about what to sing that will also have to do with the theme, but I could not think of anyone, I was about to give up, but I could not find the term giving up in my dictionary. just this morning, I remembered I song by Lucky Dube, titled Together As One, it's a song about unity and seeing each other as one.

We should not see others as different people, let's show love to others, irrespective of where they come from. Saying bad things about other people will not foster peace in our society. If we allow love to lead, the world will be a better place to live.

lyrics: Together as one by Lucky Dube

In my whole life, my whole life
I've got a dream
In my whole life, my whole life
I've got a dream

Too many people hate apartheid
Why do you like it?
Too many people hate apartheid
Why do you like it?

Hey you Rastaman
Hey European, Indian man
We've got to come together as one

Hey you Rastaman
Hey European, Indian man
We've got to come together as one
Not forgetting the Japanese

The cats and the dogs
Have forgiven each other
What is wrong with us?

All those years
Fighting each other
But there's no solution

All those years
Fighting each other
But no solution

Hey you Rastaman
Hey European, Indian man
We've got to come together as one

In my whole life, my whole life
I've got a dream
In my whole life, my whole life
I've got a dream

Too many people hate apartheid
Why do you like it?
Too many people hate apartheid
Why do you like it?

Hey you Rastaman
Hey European, Indian man
We've got to come together as one
