Queridos amigos primera vez que me paso por estos espacios, primero que nada pido permiso y me presento ante ustedes @soychalbed, tengo alrededor de ocho meses en la plataforma y de vez en cuando emprendo rumbo en nuevas comunidades buscando espacios donde sentirme a gusto y poder compartir algo de material.
Soy Venezolano y vivo aun en Venezuela, en mi casa materna ubicada en el pueblo de El Consejo en el estado Aragua, aquí dejo la ubicación del pueblo y de las ruinas de las que voy a hablarles hoy.

Dear friends first time I go through these spaces, first of all I ask permission and introduce myself to you @soychalbed, I have about eight months on the platform and from time to time I undertake courses in new communities looking for spaces where I feel comfortable and can share some material.
I am Venezuelan and I still live in Venezuela, in my mother's house located in the town of El Consejo in the state of Aragua, here I leave the location of the town and the ruins of which I am going to talk to you today.
En esta oportunidad a pesar de que no soy fotógrafo profesional les traigo unas imágenes de las ruinas del acueducto de La Hacienda Tiquire, dichas ruinas en la actualidad forman parte del patrimonio cultural del municipio pero por desinterés de parte de los gobernantes no se le ha dado la importancia que requiere.
La poca importancia y respeto que se le tiene a este patrimonio es tal, que el lugar de realizar un cerco perimetral para desarrollar un espacio de esparcimiento y aprovechamiento turístico decidieron crear un urbanismo a escasos 100 metros de separación del monumento, esto ha promovido un deterioro más acelerado ya que muchos niños y personas hacen uso indebido de él.
In this opportunity, although I am not a professional photographer I bring you some images of the ruins of the aqueduct of La Hacienda Tiquire, these ruins are now part of the cultural heritage of the municipality but due to lack of interest in the part of the governors, it has not been given the importance it requires.
The lack of importance and respect for this heritage is such that instead of building a perimeter fence to develop a space for recreation and tourism, they decided to create a housing development just 100 meters away from the monument, which has promoted a more accelerated deterioration since many children and people make improper use of it.
Estas ruinas pertenecen a una de las obras hidráulicas más importantes del país, se presume que su recorrido era de casi 5km para traer agua desde la quebrada de Maletero, con el agua se surtía un trapiche que molía caña de azúcar cosechada en la hacienda para producir papelón y azúcar para ser vendida en la ciudad de Caracas.
Cabe resaltar que el pueblo de el consejo hasta la actualidad depende en un gran porcentaje de su economía de la siembra de caña de azúcar y como hacienda relevante se encuentra La hacienda Santa Teresa que es una empresa de ron de reconocimiento mundial.
El agua una vez que generaba movimiento al trapiche se depositaba en unos tanques y estos servían para abastecer a otras partes de la hacienda o para el riego de las mismas siembras, La construcción fue inspirada en la construcción romana y fue realizada con ladrillos, piedras y mampostería de cal y barro cocido, todos eran materiales locales, de hecho en la actualidad y desde hace unas cuatro décadas en zonas cercanas al patrimonio yace una mina de arcilla y con ella una alfarería en funcionamiento hasta la actualidad.
These ruins belong to one of the most important hydraulic works of the country, it is presumed that its route was almost 5 km long to bring water from the Maletero stream, the water was used to supply a mill that ground sugar cane harvested in the hacienda to produce sugar cane and sugar to be sold in the city of Caracas.
It is worth mentioning that the town of El Consejo still depends in a great percentage of its economy on the sugar cane plantation and as a relevant hacienda is Hacienda Santa Teresa which is a world-renowned rum company.
The water once it generated a movement to the sugar cane mill was deposited in tanks and these served to supply other parts of the hacienda or for irrigation of the same crops. The construction was inspired by Roman construction and was made with bricks, stones, and masonry of lime and baked clay, all were local materials, in fact at present and for about four decades in areas near the heritage lies a clay mine and with it pottery in operation until today.
La construcción data de los siglos XVII y XVIII, dichas épocas pertenecientes a la formación de hatos y haciendas bajo la repartición de tierras por la corona española luego de la colonización del país, el resto de las ruinas se desconoce si existen o no ya que por la proyección que traen las que se encuentran de pie simulan como si están tapadas por la carretera panamericana, luego de cruzar la carretera hace unos diez años se descubrió otro tramo al que le llaman el bebe este es de arcos pequeños y solo se descubrieron unos ocho metros de longitud.
La proyección que hablan algunos historiadores de la hacienda dicen que se puede proyectar por en paralelo a lo que era el camino real de la época, hasta posicionarse en las naciente de la quebrada de maletero a unos 4800mts del lugar del trapiche, por otra parte yo opino que si se calcula el ángulo de inclinación que hay entre las ruinas principales y el llamado bebe se puede conseguir un área de excavación para tratar de recuperar algún otro tramo ya que las zonas cercanas han sido urbanizadas y al pasar cualquier maquinaria no se tuvo el cuidado necesario para preservar una posible excavación.

The projection that some historians of the hacienda say that it can be projected parallel to what was the royal road of the time, to position itself at the source of the ravine maletero about 4800mts from the place of the trapiche, on the other hand, I think that if you calculate the angle of inclination that is between the main ruins and the so-called baby you can get an area of excavation to try to recover some other section as the nearby areas have been urbanized and passing any machinery was not careful enough to preserve a possible excavation.
Como ciudadano del sector espero algún día ver algún gobernante con un poco de sentido de pertenencia por estos espacios y que se dediquen a una posible preservación más que una restauración, soy partidario de que en esa zona hay terrenos disponibles para la construcción de un museo donde se pueda crear un diseño virtual de cómo fue la hacienda en su época basado en los datos históricos que se poseen, cosa que puede desarrollar el turismo y agregarle valor al municipio.
Hasta aquí les relato mi entrega hoy espero no ofender a algún miembro de la comunidad y de ser bienvenido más adelante les mostrare muchas ruinas históricas que están arropadas por el urbanismo en mi ciudad.
As a citizen of the sector I hope someday to see some rulers with a little sense of belonging for these spaces and that they dedicate themselves to possible preservation rather than restoration, I am in favor that in that area there is land available for the construction of a museum where you can create a virtual design of how the hacienda was in its time based on historical data that is possessed, something that can develop tourism and add value to the municipality.
