Hoy estoy participando en la iniciativa de maquillaje estilo Smokey Eye. A mi me parece que esta técnica de maquillaje es hermosa, pues hace que la mirada se vea más profunda, sexy y fuerte. Al mismo tiempo, es una técnica que no uso comúnmente porque sé que no soy experta en ella, requiere tiempo y paciencia para que los colores oscuros no se vean con parches y mal difuminados. Sin embargo, las veces que me he hecho un maquillaje de este estilo me ha encantado el resultado, así que, en esta ocasión me animé a realizar un smokey eye sencillo, pero con un pop de color 💟
El proceso inició preparando mi piel con crema hidratante, primer y una base ligera. En los párpados, apliqué corrector como base, en la cuenca un color marrón oscuro difuminado y en el párpado móvil una sombra negra. Mis cejas las maquillé con una tonalidad marrón un poco más oscura que la que uso comúnmente, para enmarcar esta zona del rostro. Apliqué delineador negro en la línea de agua inferior, y en el párpado, además, agregué pestañas en el extremo de los ojos, para alargar y abrir la mirada. Para el toque de color utilicé mi delineador líquido lila. Siento que este detalle suavizó un poco el maquillaje y lo hizo más divertido. Terminé aplicando rimmel y un brillo ligero en mis labios.

Today I am participating in the Smokey Eye style makeup initiative. To me, I think this makeup technique is beautiful, as it makes the look deeper, sexier and stronger. At the same time, it's a technique I don't commonly use because I know I'm not an expert at it, it takes time and patience so that the dark colors don't look patchy and badly smudged. However, the times that I have done a makeup of this style I have loved the result, so, this time I decided to do a simple smokey eye, but with a pop of color 💟
The process started by preparing my skin with moisturizer, primer and a light foundation. On my eyelids, I applied concealer as a base, in the socket a smudged dark brown color and on the mobile eyelid a black shadow. My eyebrows were made up with a brown shade a little darker than I usually use, to frame this area of the face. I applied black eyeliner on the lower waterline and on the eyelid, and added lashes at the corners of the eyes to lengthen and open up the look. For a touch of color I used my lilac liquid eyeliner. I feel this detail softened the makeup a bit and made it more fun. I finished by applying mascara and a light gloss on my lips.
