Tiempo sin compartir con mis hermanas y mis primos junto a mí querida madre.
Este fin de semana tuve la dicha de tener cerca parte de mi Familia. Mi hermana llevó a mi madre de Valencia/Estado Carabobo (que es donde ella vive) a La Guaira/Estado La Guaira, en donde vive otra de mis hermanas.
Se corrió la voz de que la Señora Yeyita (mi mamá) se iba a pasar unos días en La Guaira, así que varios de mis primos decidieron ir hasta allá para pasar un día con esa viejita hermosa y bochinchera.
Realmente fue una gran sorpresa para mi mamá, en ningún momento le dijimos que mis primos se acercarían a visitarla, sólo estaban mis dos hermanas y yo con ella en el día.
Long time no share with my sisters and cousins with my dear mother.
This weekend I had the joy of having part of my family close by. My sister took my mother from Valencia/Carabobo State (where she lives) to La Guaira/La Guaira State, where another of my sisters lives.
Word spread that Señora Yeyita (my mom) was going to spend a few days in La Guaira, so several of my cousins decided to go there to spend a day with that beautiful old lady.
It was really a big surprise for my mom, at no time we told her that my cousins would come to visit her, only my two sisters and I were with her for the day.
Después de almorzar, en la tardecita acompañé a mi madre al baño para que se diera una ducha y la ayudé a vestir, le dije que se acostara un rato a ver televisión, pero ella no quiso... prefirió ir a la hamaca, que a pesar de sus 87 años que ya cumplió sigue balanceándose en la hamaca como si tuviera 30 años (a mi particularmente me da un poco de angustia cuando lo hace), pero ella hasta sopa puede comer en una hamaca, le encanta.
After lunch, in the afternoon I accompanied my mother to the bathroom to take a shower and helped her get dressed, I told her to lie down and watch TV for a while, but she didn't want to... she preferred to go to the hammock, and despite her 87 years she still swings in the hammock as if she was 30 years old (I particularly feel a little anguish when she does it), but she can even eat soup in a hammock, she loves it.
Al rato la invité a que se cambiara la ropa, ya que una de mis primas me avisó que ya estaba llegando.
After a while I invited her to change her clothes, since one of my cousins told me she was coming.
Sara es una de mis primas favoritas, ya es contemporánea conmigo y nos criamos juntas. Mi mama al verla llegar sintió una inmensa alegría, después de abrasarla y besarla, mi prima hizo un video llamada a su madre (hermana de mi madre) para que saludara a su hermana y compartiera en la distancia esa dicha de vernos juntas.
Sara is one of my favorite cousins, she is already a contemporary of mine and we grew up together.When my mother saw her arrive, she was overjoyed. After hugging and kissing her, my cousin made a video call to her mother (my mother's sister) so she could greet her sister and share the joy of seeing us together.
Al tato comenzó a llegar el resto de mis primos y hermanas. Mi madre estaba inmensamente feliz, tenía muchos años sin verlos.
Trajeron varias cajas de cervezas para amenizar la reunión, pero para mí mama solo whisky con agua de coco que es como a ella le gusta.
Soon the rest of my cousins and sisters began to arrive. My mother was immensely happy, she had not seen them for many years.
They brought several cases of beer to liven up the gathering, but for my mother only whiskey with coconut water, which is how she likes it.
Siguieron llegando unos cuantos más y mi mama estaba llena de dicha y felicidad, y todos en general estábamos felices por el tiempo que teníamos sin vernos.
A few more kept arriving and my mom was full of joy and happiness, and we were all generally happy for the time we hadn't seen each other.
Bajamos a mi mama un rato a la playa, pero no permanecimos mucho tiempo, ya que a mi madre le molestaba la brisa y el salitre en los ojos.
We took my mom down to the beach for a while, but we didn't stay long, as the breeze and the saltpeter in my mother's eyes bothered her.
Así que subimos de nuevo a la casa de mi hermana Yohalis y comenzamos a escuchar música, a cantar y a bailar.
Hasta la viejita bailó con uno de sus nietos, pero no tomamos fotos sino videos de todos estos divertidos momentos.
So we went back up to my sister Yohalis' house and started listening to music, singing and dancing.
Even the old lady danced with one of her grandchildren, but we did not take pictures but videos of all these fun moments.

Pasamos un día espectacular en Familia, bailamos, bebimos, comimos y conversamos de muchas cosas agradables y otras no tan agradables, pero lo importante fue pasar ese maravilloso día junto a seres que sabes que realmente valen mucho para ti.
A mi mama la acostamos a las 3am y todos los demás esperamos el amanecer frente a esa hermosa vista que tiene ese lugar.
We spent a spectacular day with our family, we danced, drank, ate and talked about many pleasant and not so pleasant things, but the important thing was to spend that wonderful day with people that you know are really worth a lot to you.
We put my mom to bed at 3am and all the rest of us waited for the sunrise in front of that beautiful view that this place has.
Para todos un buen café al amanecer. Llegó la hora menos deseada, la hora de la despedida, nadie durmió, todos se fueron después del café, ya que tenían compromisos que cumplir. Mis hermanas y yo nos acostamos un rato hasta que se despertó nuestra madre, nos levantamos a hacer desayuno muy cansadas pero súper alegres y felices por el maravilloso día que pasamos.

For everyone a good coffee at dawn. The least desired hour arrived, the time to say goodbye, no one slept, everyone left after coffee, as they had commitments to fulfill. My sisters and I went to bed for a while until our mother woke up, we got up to make breakfast very tired but very happy for the wonderful day we had spent.
