It's so nice to be back here again and thanks for your comments on my previous post. I am elated when i saw this topic,it brings back some memories which i will love to share with you all.
Satisfaction is fulfillment of one's wishes, expectations, or needs, or the pleasure derived from this. Satisfaction comes from things that makes us happy, you can't derive satisfaction when you are unhappy either to yourself or someone else.
Feeling loved is one of the ways we feel satisfied, it brings that inner joy that we can't explain,it puts one untop of the world and at that time nothing else matters, you will want to keep sailing on the love boat.
Achieving the height you have always dreamed of gives great satisfaction, the feeling of "wow i made it", it sometimes comes in an unexplainable manner because the pleasure and joy such achievement came with cannot be underestimated. In life people tends to feel inferior when they fail but when they win they feel fulfilled and try as much as possible to keep their happiness.
Deriving satisfaction comes from within,it's not something that can be impose on someone,it has to come from the heart and this is why it is important for an individual to know what makes him or her satisfied.
Sometimes, our health both physical and mental brings us satisfaction, our spouse/partner, our families or having a sense of purpose. Having high self-esteem and knowing fully that you aren't a failure, having peace of mind and creating your own happiness, all these contributes to satisfaction in human life. Before a level of satisfaction can be attained you have to know and do what makes you happy. Let's take a thirsty person for an example, the only thing that can satisfied that thirst at that time is a chilled water even a soft drink or chilled juice will not do unless the person drinks water first.
We can't expect less from life, there will be bad times that is sure but amidst the bad times we must take note of what makes us happy so as to avoid depressions and live a peaceful and satisfied life.
Satisfaction can not be bought, it is an individual priority because your mental state depends so much on it.
Taking myself as an example, i love getting what i want when i wanted them, i don't like delay especially in my financial life. Any achievement i make in life i feel satisfied most importantly in my love life,being with the right partner brings safisfaction like i mentioned earlier,the feeling of you being loved genuinely is heaven on earth. Nurturing deep life- long relationships boost up genuine bond in human's life and helps keep the family together.
Only you can derive your satisfaction ,know yourself and do things that makes you satisfied,don't give up your happiness because i believe satisfaction is a self business.
