Hello fellow Hivians!

As some of you know I've been following the development of a new NFT based FPS game called PsyberX which is being developed by an indie studio called Royal Reptile Studios.

Given there aren't any well known FPS games following this format just yet it will be one of the first of its kind.

Its primary crypto token is called LVL and it is native to Hive which is how I, like many of you, found out about the project.

It is still very early in the process and the studio is just starting to push its token with LVL based airdrops. Unfortunately I've not been able to participate as of yet but I was curious to look into those that have and run some stats. As such, I've queried Hive Engine and looked at the top 150 account holders. Based on my findings I think this project has a TON of room to grow assuming it is successful. Before we get into that though, lets talk about the tokenomics.

The token is fully minted, held primarily by the dev team and has a total supply of 500M tokens. Now plans were made to handle the distribution of the token which can be read in more detail via the dev's token economics post.

The TLDR however:

• 50% sold at market rates to fund raise for the game
• 20% held as corporate treasury to pay out game functions
• 30% will be held as a reserve development fund.

At the time of my post, the development team holds at least 361M tokens within accounts that are easily tied to them. Specifically, I've noticed the accounts saltyreptile, gnzlvhi67, infamous27, and of course psyberx as either owned by the studio or received large amounts of the tokens as a direct transfer/send and likely related to the studio.

This means that the public sale of LVL can only include 111M tokens assuming none of the other major holders are also dev accounts. One thing to note is that the LVL is being distributed slightly differently than some other tokens and that the full 250M (50% of total) being distributed to the public is not via a single buy order and instead the development team drops tokens into supply based on their goals.

There are also some very well known Hive OGs in the top holder list here including balte and abrockman. These guys have a track record for supporting some of the up and coming Hive based projects.

Lately the token has been pumping in value significantly as the dev team has been moving along their roadmap. As a part of their marketplace release one of the primary incentives they have put forth is an airdrop of game NFTs via 'crates' for holding an average of at least 200k tokens or more during the market development phase. Given this phase is mostly wrapped up I've taken a look to see the numbers of how many accounts will be qualifying for the drop. I have heard that the dev team has stated that they will not be dropping assets to their own staff however I'm going to include all accounts for now.

Based on this we can see that of the top 150 accounts, 103 (assuming dev accounts are included) will qualify for airdropped crates. These 103 accounts will effectively have a massive advantage over standard players in the long run.

1 thing I've found interesting is that some of these 103 accounts are indeed owned by singular individuals. For example the accounts day3 and awaken7 were both funded by the account nextgen622 which is currently #8 on the richlist. Additionally the satren and satren.lvl accounts also appear to be owned by the same individual and hold spots 10 and 72 on the list.

Another interesting stat: If you look at publicly owned tokens only, ie take out the known dev accounts (which currently hold 361M tokens as discussed above), we are left with a token supply of 138,569,000. Of those 138M tokens 104,687,731 are held by 33 unique accounts. In other terms, 33 accounts hold 75% of the tokens current liquidity.

One thing to note is that these accounts % ownership have been dropping steadily over time as more and more people buy into the token both via the devs issuing more of the 250M meant for public sale AND as some of the whales offload some of their excess tokens.
