Dear friends once again here writing and doing what I like which is the mechanics, this time I will show you part of the repair of the transmission of a Ford Focus 2007.
The car belongs to @medicenchuchi who a little less than a year ago by ignorance towed his car because he ran out of fuel and that generated consequences in the transmission.
By the way I tell you as a mechanic that automatic cars should not be towed off because the transmission oil pump works in conjunction with the torque converter or turbine and if the engine is off these do not work and the internal parts of the transmission work dry.
He for lack of time and money had not repaired the failure which consisted in that the car lost the gears from third gear onwards.
I am not an expert in repairing automatic transmissions, I only worked for 2 years in a specialized workshop, but because it was family and I wanted to help, I decided to check the transmission to see where I could find the fault.
I told him to disassemble the transmission himself and bring it home to check, so he did and well I show you the exploded view of the transmission.
I remove my rear cover and get the first failure, one of the plain bearings was damaged and generated wear on the cover causing oil pressure leaks.

I take out the crankcase to remove the valve body, filter and disconnect the solenoids. To further disassemble and evaluate the whole transmission.
On the other hand for not having the oil pump extractor I remove the whole cover and open the transmission in two parts.
I check the secondary clutches, the rache and the planetary I see that everything is in order, I start to doubt since I had not disassembled the rear clutch and I thought that the fault apart from the problem I mentioned at the beginning could be a valve body solenoid.
I leave everything in place as it goes since there was no failure on that side and return to the main clutch where the belt engages and proceed to disassemble looking for another anomaly.
Well look what I got.
All the paste discs were finished which caused the iron discs to overheat, the internal horn where the seals are attached so that there is no pressure leakage was worn.
On the one hand I am happy since the expenses that were presumed will not be since it is not necessary to buy the Master kit that costs 300$ only touches to locate the damaged drum and the cover in some workshop that has it of another transmission.

Today in the morning and located the complete drum we are only missing the lid and got it for $80.
How that part is the rear part I am already assembled the rest of the transmission but that I show you once I get everything and I can show the photos of the repair.

Queridos amigos una vez m谩s por aqu铆 escribiendo y haciendo lo que me gusta que es la mec谩nica, en esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar parte de la reparaci贸n de la transmisi贸n de un Ford Focus 2007.
El auto es de @medicenchuchi quien hace poco menos de un a帽o por desconocimiento remolc贸 su auto porque se qued贸 sin combustible y eso le gener贸 consecuencias en la transmisi贸n.
Por cierto les digo como mec谩nico que los autos autom谩ticos no se deben remolcar apagados ya que la bomba de aceite de la transmisi贸n funciona en conjunto con el convertidor de torque o turbina y si el motor est谩 apagado estos no funcionan y las partes internas de la transmisi贸n trabajan en seco.
El por falta de tiempo y dinero no hab铆a reparado la falla que consist铆a en que el auto perdi贸 los cambios desde la tercera velocidad en adelante.
No soy muy experto reparando transmisiones autom谩ticas solo trabaje 2 a帽os en un taller especializado pero por tratarse de la familia y ayudar me anim茅 a chequear la transmisi贸n a ver d贸nde consegu铆a la falla.
Le dije para que el mismo desmontar谩 la transmisi贸n y la trajera a casa para chequear, as铆 hizo y bueno les muestro el despiece de la transmisi贸n.
Retiro mi tapa trasera y consigo la primera falla, una de los rodamientos planos se da帽贸 y gener贸 desgaste en la tapa ocasionando fugas de presi贸n de aceite.

Saco el c谩rter para retirar el cuerpo de v谩lvulas, filtro y desconectar los solenoides. Para seguir desarmando y evaluar toda la transmisi贸n.
Por otra parte por no tener el extractor de la bomba de aceite retiro toda la tapa y abro la transmisi贸n en dos partes.
Chequeo los embragues secundarios, el rache y el planetario veo que todo est谩 en orden, empiezo a dudar ya que no hab铆a desarmado el embrague trasero y pens茅 que la falla aparte del problema que mencion茅 al principio pod铆a ser un solenoide del cuerpo de v谩lvulas.
Voy dejando todo en su sitio como va ya que por ese lado no hab铆a falla y vuelvo al embrague principal donde acopla la faja y procedo a desarmar buscando otra anomalia.
Pues vean lo que me consegu铆.
Todos los discos de pasta estaban acabados lo que ocasion贸 el recalentamiento de los discos de hierro, la bocina interna donde acoplan los sellos para que no halla fuga de presi贸n estaba desgastada.
Por una parte estoy contento ya que los gastos que se presum铆an no ser谩n ya que no hay que comprar el Master kit que cuesta 300$ solo toca ubicar el tambor da帽ado y la tapa en alg煤n taller que la tengan de otra transmisi贸n.

Hoy en la ma帽ana y ubicamos el tambor completo solo nos falta la tapa y se consigui贸 por 80$.
C贸mo esa parte es la parte trasera ya estoy ensamblado el resto de la transmisi贸n pero eso se los muestro una vez consiga todo y pueda mostrar las fotos de la reparaci贸n.
