El día de ayer publiqué la imagen de un insecto hallado en una rama de la planta de toronjil. Comenté que había grabado un breve video para mostrar su comportamiento pero me fue imposible colgarlo. Hoy tuve algo de suerte y por acá les comparto.
Yesterday I published the image of an insect found on a branch of the lemon balm plant. I commented that I had recorded a brief video to show its behavior but it was impossible to hang it up. Today I had some luck and here I share it with you.
Mientras conseguimos la participación de un experto para que nos diga el nombre de este bicho y a cuál familia pertenece, presentaré otros hallados en la misma zona donde se cultiva la aromática planta del toronjil o también conocida como hoja de limón o melisa.

Me fascinó este escarabajo de aproximadamente cuatro milímetros, en otras palabras un coleóptero bastante pequeño, simpático, rápido y con un equilibrio impresionante, se nota la fuerza que puede tener este animal en sus patas.

Las características de este animalito me hizo pensar de inmediato a cuál de las familias pertenece. He leído que los escarabajos son de familia numerosa, las más grande de los insectos.
The characteristics of this little animal immediately made me think about which of the families it belongs to. I have read that beetles are of a large family, the largest of all insects.
No puedo afirmar cuánto daño puede causar este coleóptero a la planta de toronjil o cualquier otra planta. Se piensa y dice que muchos de ellos pueden convertirse en plaga y acabar con grandes plantaciones.
I cannot say how much damage this beetle can cause to the Lemon Balm plant or any other plant. It is thought and said that many of them can become a pest and destroy large plantations.
Mientras unos insectos disfrutan de hoja, ramas y flores sanas otros parecen disfrutar de hongos u enfermedades de las plantas, tal es el caso de este chinche camuflado entre una mancha negra.
While some insects enjoy healthy leaves, branches and flowers, others seem to enjoy fungi or plant diseases, such is the case of this bug camouflaged in a black spot
La fuerte brisa en el lugar impedía realizar buenas tomas a este insecto sin embargo, en esta imagen se muestra el aparato succionador del chiche sobre la mancha enunciada.
The strong breeze at the site prevented good shots from being taken, however, this image shows the chichi suction device over the enunciated stain.
