Hola chicos, espero que estén teniendo una agradable semana cuando ya casi llega a su fin. Hoy he querido compartir con ustedes una parte de mi presentación en el Hive Meeting Up que tuvimos en La Habana hace unos días.

Se trata de la anatomía de un tuit, y aunque no se trata de una DAPP de #Hive, sí que es importante conocer cómo realizar buenos tuits, ya que son casi imprescindibles a la hora de compartir nuestro contenido, promover el uso de Hive en las plataformas Web2 y, por supuesto, llegar a los ojos correctos y ser recompensados.

Hi guys, I hope you are having a nice week as it is almost coming to an end. Today I wanted to share with you a part of my presentation at the Hive Meeting Up that we had in Havana a few days ago.

This is the anatomy of a tweet, and although it is not a #Hive DAPP, it is important to know how to make good tweets, since they are almost essential when sharing our content, promoting the use of Hive on Web2 platforms and, of course, reaching the right eyes and being rewarded.

Lo primero que debemos tener en cuenta al utilizar Twitter para promover nuestros posts en Hive es el empleo de la etiqueta #Hive. Esto, ligado al enlace de nuestra publicación, llamará al bot de @poshbot que siempre está a la escucha de nuevas pruebas de socialización (Proof Of Sharing). Así podrás obtener los beneficios de este proyecto. Pero además, serás descubierto y seguramente compartido por la comunidad.

The first thing we must take into account when using Twitter to promote our posts on Hive is the use of the hashtag #Hive. This, linked to the link in our publication, will call the @poshbot bot that is always listening for new socialization tests (Proof Of Sharing). So you can get the benefits of this project. But also, you will be discovered and surely shared by the community.

El texto / the text

Twitter es una red social dinámica, su contenido está en constante movimiento y desaparecerá del Time Line de tus seguidores muy rápidamente. Así que intentemos ser los más efectivos posibles. Crea un texto de no más de 140 caracteres que explique de qué va tu post en Hive y haz un llamado a la acción como "Léelo aquí" o "Échale un vistazo".

Twitter is a dynamic social network, its content is in constant movement and will disappear from the Time Line of your followers very quickly. So let's try to be as effective as possible. No puedes olvidar el enlace a tu publicación, si no nadie la verá. Ponlo después de la llamada a la acción. Además, los tuits con enlaces tienen 3 veces más posibilidades de ser vistos según análisis del algoritmo.

You can't forget the link to your post, otherwise no one will see it. Put it after the call to action. In addition, tweets with links are 3 times more likely to be seen according to algorithm analysis.

Hashtags relacionados / Related Hastags

Puedes incluir otros (no más de dos) hashtags con palabras claves que utilizas en tu artículo. Así las personas que anden buscando ese tipo de contenido te encontrarán mejor.

You can include other (no more than two) hashtags with keywords that you use in your article. So people who are looking for that type of content will find you better.

Imágenes / Pictures

Emplea una imagen en tu tuit, preferiblemente la imagen de portada de tu artículo en Hive, intenta que esté optimizada para Twitter: 900x600 o 900x1000 son las mejores resoluciones. Aunque al poner el enlace de tu post, Twitter cargará su METADATA y aparecerá la foto de portada, es mejor que emplees una imagen que subas a Twitter, así tu tuit tiene más posibilidades de ser visto según análisis del algoritmo.

Use an image in your tweet, preferably the cover image of your article on Hive, try to make it optimized for Twitter: 900x600 or 900x1000 are the best resolutions. Although by putting the link of your post, Twitter will load its METADATA and the cover photo will appear, it is better that you use an image that you upload to Twitter, so your tweet has more chances of being seen according to algorithm analysis.

Etiqueta otras cuentas

Otra de las posibilidades que te ofrece agregar una imagen, es que puedes incluir etiquetas a otras cuentas dentro de ella. Así podrás etiquetar a cuentas como @hivecuba @hivecreators y otras que forman parte del ecosistema y ayudan en la promoción de posts sobre Hive en esta red social.

No etiquetes cuentas de ballenas o curadores, aunque los conozcas, es de mal gusto y te hará más mal que bien. Recuerda: estás promoviendo, no suplicando por votos.

Another of the possibilities offered by adding an image is that you can include tags to other accounts within it. This way you can tag accounts like @hivecuba @hivecreators and others that are part of the ecosystem and help in the promotion of posts about Hive on this social network.

Do not tag whale accounts or curators, even if you know them, it is in bad taste and will do you more harm than good. Remember: you are promoting, not begging for votes.
