When it comes to sushi, it is important to know which place is good to go to, since it is a raw dish for the most part, you have to be attentive to the quality of the product and the recommendations they have.
For my birthday I was determined to eat sushi for the first time in Argentina, so even though it was Good Friday, I decided to search the internet for a place to go to eat it, close to home, and I found a few, but most of them were to take away and I wanted to eat it on site and enjoy a nice afternoon with my children, who would try it for the first time.
We found Dashi, in the Las Lomitas shopping center, in the Lomas de Zamora district, a super chic place that is located about half an hour from home.
This place has spaces both inside and outside on the terrace on the second floor of the mall.
The Oriental style setting using red and black colors, besides having spaces not only to eat but also comfortable furniture to spend the afternoon and have a coffee or a refreshing drink.
It has the menu in both digital and physical format, besides being a coworking space, so it not only works for us to have a nice meal, but also results in a very pleasant working environment.
The service from the moment we arrived was really excellent, for those who are not sushi connoisseurs they offer complete information about the presentation, the ingredients, the elaboration of the food, and the recommendations of the house regarding the roles they offer.
This time we ordered a california roll and a sake roll (with salmon) to start, as my kids would be trying it for the first time.
There were also tempura rolls (I wanted one of these), but I let my oldest son choose the menu this time, as he is an anime fan and wanted to feel like he was part of one by choosing Japanese food, guided by the pictures.
We accompanied with sodas served in glasses, to the delight of my little Fabrizzio, who felt like a king during the wait for the food, which I must say, was not long, because after 20 minutes we already had the plate with the roles, 8 of each type, and the whole table ready to taste this lunch.
It was the first time we had to use the sticks to eat, and the person in charge very kindly brought helpers for my children, in order to make their handling easier and even offered to teach them how to use them.
I must confess that all my little one's joy dissipated on the first roll. I think his expectations were very different, however, like a gentleman he tasted his roll and stopped.
On the other hand, my other son, the otaku, tried both types and decided on the California, which he quite enjoyed, showing great skill with the use of the sticks and even daring to try the soy sauce with wasabi.
In total, I paid 7,330 Argentine pesos (33 dollars approximately) which is not really cheap, but if we see that we ate 3 people, it does not feel so much in the pocket.
Anyway, this type of food should not be eaten just anywhere, or look for something cheap without measuring the quality, so I think it was a good choice, both for the food, as for the service and the atmosphere.

Cuando se trata de sushi, es importante saber cuál sitio es bueno para ir, ya que tratándose de un plato crudo en su mayoría, hay que estar atentos a la calidad del producto y las recomendaciones que tengan.
Para el día de mi cumpleaños estaba decidida a comer sushi por primera vez en Argentina, así que a pesar de que era un viernes santo, me propuse a buscar a buscar por internet un lugar a donde ir a comerlo, que quedara cerca de casa, y encontré unos cuantos, pero la mayoría era para llevar y yo quería comerlo en el sitio y disfrutar de una tarde amena junto a mis hijos, quienes lo probarían por primera vez.
Encontramos a Dashi, en el centro comercial Las Lomitas, en el partido Lomas de Zamora, un lugar super chic que está ubicado a una media hora de casa.
Este local tiene espacios tanto en el interior como al exterior en la terraza del segundo piso del centro comercial.
La ambientación estilo Oriental utilizando colores rojos y negros además de tener espacios no solamente para comer sino también muebles cómodos para pasar la tarde y tomarse un café o alguna bebida refrescante.
Cuenta con el menú tanto en formato digital como en físico, además de ser un espacio para coworking, así que no solamente nos funciona para tener una rica comida, sino también resulta un ambiente de trabajo bastante agradable.
El servicio desde que llegamos fue realmente excelente, para los que no son conocedores de sushi ofrecen información bastante completa sobre la presentación, los ingredientes, la elaboración de la comida, y las recomendaciones de la casa con respecto a los roles que ellos ofrecen.
En esta oportunidad pedimos un california roll y un sake roll (con salmón) para empezar, ya que mis hijos lo probarían por primera vez.
También habían roles tempurizados (yo quería uno de estos), pero dejé que mi hijo mayor eligiera el menú por esta vez, ya que es aficionado al anime y quería sentirse como parte de uno escogiendo comida japonesa, guiándose por las fotos.
Acompañamos con gaseosas que nos sirvieron en copas, para el deleite de mi pequeño Fabrizzio, quien se sentía como un rey durante la espera de la comida, que debo decir, no fue mucha, pues a los 20 minutos ya teníamos el plato con los roles, 8 de cada tipo, y toda la mesa dispuesta para degustar este almuerzo.
Tocó usar por primera vez los palitos para comer, y el encargado muy gentilmente trajo ayudantes para mis hijos, así hacer más fácil su manipulación e inclusive se ofreció a enseñarles cómo usarlos.
Debo confesar que toda la alegría de mi pequeño se disipó en el primer roll. Creo que sus expectativas eran muy distintas, sin embargo, como todo un caballero degustó su roll y paró.
En cambio, mi otro hijo, el otaku, probó ambos tipos y se decidió por los California, los cuales disfrutó bastante, mostrando gran habilidad con el uso de los palitos y hasta atreviéndose a probar la salsa de soja con wasabi.
En total, pagué 7.330 pesos argentinos (33 dólares aproximadamente) que realmente no es algo económico, pero si vemos que comimos 3 personas, no se sienten tanto en el bolsillo.
Igualmente, este tipo de comida no se debe ingerir en cualquier lugar, o buscar algo económico sin medir la calidad, por lo que considero que fue una buena opción, tanto por la comida, como por el servicio y el ambiente.
