Remember that day, when she went to my husband's house for the first time, my mother-in-law prepared a delicious snack which I had never tasted, although it is very common and easy to make; (Arroz con Leche) if that classic rice pudding of all life, rice meals, is my second favorite, on top of that it is a dessert without tacc! That's how homemade desserts are: good and simple to make.
This rice is so good that it has a song, we all know it and even sing it from the heart. This rice pudding recipe is the easiest and cheapest in the world, which can be enjoyed with the whole family.
- 150g. de arroz
- 1 litro de leche
- 150g. de azúcar
- canela (rama o en polvo)
- cáscara de limón

- 150g. of rice
- 1 liter of milk
- 150g. of sugar
- cinnamon (stick and powdered)
- lemon peel
How to make rice pudding step by step.
The idea of making rice pudding is that it is just right, neither too liquid nor too thick, but with a creamy consistency.
To start making the mixture we are going to let the rice rest in the milk (before doing so we must wash the rice) for approximately 30 minutes, once the minutes have passed we place it on the fire, then we are going to cut some pieces of lemon peel (wash the lemon well) we add it to the pot, we are also going to add a stick of cinnamon or cinnamon powder.
We are going to cover it until it starts to boil, it is important to stay close to the rice; once it is about to boil, we uncover it and start stirring carefully.
It is time to add the sugar, before we must make sure that the rice is a little cooked, we continue stirring until it begins to evaporate and the sugar begins to get thick. When we see that the rice pudding is cooked, we turn off the heat, remove the pieces of cinnamon and lemon peel, and let it rest. Once it is at room temperature, put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and it's ready. When it's time to serve it you can add a little cinnamon powder to give it the final touch. Enjoy it!
