Ile Ife is a land rich in history and culture and has many architectural frameworks to reckon with. If you have plans on heading to Ooni of Ife Palace, here
are some helpful things to take along
with you:
A camera and ofcourse expectation to see amazing statues and lots more.

In Ile Ife few few weeks months ago I met with my favorite heroine from the history books, Queen Moreni.

As a lover of history I remember reading about Queen Moreni, a true heroine and how she saved the people of Life during war.

The Ooni of Ife Palace i learnt serves as both the residence and the court of the traditional ruler of Ife, which is the birthplace of the Yoruba race.

It is noted to be the centre of Yoruba history and culture.
It contains mythical objects and spots of
historical significance as i was told.

Oduduwa I learnt was the first Ooni, king of Ile Life with title '' Olofin Aye'' and Olufe".
Oduduwa as I learnt is generally referred to as the ancestral dynasty of the yoruba land.

Many special rites and rituals must be performed before a new Ooni begin his residence in the palace.

That sounds really supernatural if you ask me!
